Freeh will make a lot of money on this book and I am sure it is part of his motivation but I am sure everything in the book is true. The truth will continue to be revealed about the Clintons and their legacy will continue to plunder.

It will be interesting to hear Bill Clinton defend what comes out in the book. In fact, you will probably see him overseas for a while.

Chris Matthews despises Matt Drudge. It should be no surprise that Matthews has yet to mention anything about the Freeh book on his "screaming" Hardball program. So far it's all Karl Rove. He teased earlier about the WH spy (no mention that he was hired in 99) and a Pentagon contractor who pleaded guilty today.

Wow! That is scathing. I am surprised that 60 Minutes will be airing the interview. Actually, after a few phone calls are made by the Clintonista, the interview probably won't air.

Another book I plan to read.

Huh. I could have sworn he liked girls with a little meat on their bones.

That said, I have always like Freeh. He had his weaknesses just like anyone else, but he seemed to be a straight up kind of guy.

That's like J. Edgar Hoover letting Al Capone skate and then years later writing a book saying, "Boy, that Al Capone sure had a lot of skeletons in his closet!"

Watch your back there Freeh!

Now he'll be portrayed as a right wing extremist; a Republican hack; incompetent; etc. regardless of fact.

But then again, he did let raw FBI files be removed. Those files aren't even supposed to be read by anyone other than cleared FBI agents. When anyone requests a background check, even the White House, the FBI usually writes up a summary of the actual facts in the files.

They don't let all that raw information be seen in that much of it is unsubstantiated items. It could be they once interviewed a person's neighbors because they were up for some top secret clearance (I've been on the end of many of those phone calls and visits from the FBI every time my Air Force brother got another clearance as they updated his file with my information) and they were none too kind to him or said he had visitors at all hours of the night, etc.

But his book will be yet another volume in the massive library that will judge Clinton's presidency for the times as the unmitigated disaster it was.

This is a must have book! I am so glad he is speaking out, but as Rush said today, he will be discredited big time by the media .

Perhaps it's been said before (I just got "here"); but ISN'T THIS AN ADMISSION OF CULPABILITY? If Freeh covered up for the pig, isn't he also a traitor?

And the Arkansas Grifters want to take back your country.
Hope all the DIMS remember they will bring all their skeletons with them.
Time to release the Bill/Monica phone sex tapes...you know they will come out some day.

The Clinton years are somewhat analogous to Mayor Nagin's siren call for the people of New Orleans to return to that city with, "It's Party Time!"

....and that is as far as some ever get with government.......
