So what you are saying is your wife got ticked off because you were seeing another woman and filed for divorce so she used the courts to get back at you?Well, she was the one who filed for divorce after I caught her commiting adultery. She took my then four year old son and moved in with the boyfriend. What I had the temerity to do was fight for custody. That pissed her off and several months later, when I began dating my now wife, she went the harassment route.
BTW, divorces involving custody take years to get through (three years in my case.) So it's unrealistic not to date during that time. She did the dirty deed. I felt no guilt in moving on.

I hope you got your son AND child support.

I hope you got your son AND child support. That is a fantasy world. I see my son every other weekend (4 days a month) and I am garnished $775 a month in child support. I make 50k and the ex makes 40k.
I'm broke. She bought a new Mustang as soon as the checks started.

That completely SUCKS. I think if the father is willing, there should be automatic joint custody. Period.

I had some very good teachers. One of the lessons I learned was that when you were pretty sure you had won, just shut up and let the judge rant and rave. It served me well that day, but I still feel bad about the image of our judicial system that young man internalized. He was not a saint, but, believe me, his parents had already made him regret the whole incident and realize how stupid he had been. I believe they made him pay back my fee, but they sure made him more aware of the consequences of what he had done than the idiot judge ever would have done.

I wonder how this judge sleeps at night after the decisions she makes that send helpless children into the hands of unfit parents? It happened in our family and I wonder, now that she's been exposed, will those who have been served unjustly by this court be allowed to have their cases reheard? The children are always the victims of these incompetent nitwits, and the children's welfare is never fully considered. For the children's sake, I hope they get another chance to have their cases heard by a competent, caring judge.

I had the misfortune to get Squire. My ex spent many thousands of dollars (which he admitted to) on stirppers and maxed out all the credit cards while I was going back and forth out of town to care for my dying mother. The company I worked for was sold and I was out of a job at the time of my divorce. My ex was making $85,000 a year and I was unemployed. I didn't even get attorney fees.
Squire told me, in court during one of our 6 pre-trials, that she didn't want to waste 5 hours of her time hearing my case, she had important cased to hear.
During the trial she would not let my attorney present all the evidence because she wanted to hurry up and get out of there.
She couldn't keep straight who was the defendant and who was the plantiff and listed his credit card debts (for stippers) as mine.
If it's not presented in the trial it cann't be considered for the appeal.
I appealed and the appeal court was already sick of having to rehear her cases and consider divorce cases beneath them. They just made her explain why I was not entitled to anything in more detail.
Over $100,000 was missing. I received nothing for financial misconduct, spousal support or attorney fees, which is suppose to be unusual if you're unemployed.
I tried to file a complaint. I made repeated calls to the Columbus Bar Association asking for attorneys who would do it. None would. It's career suicide. There's only 5 domestic relations judges and the attorneys see the same judges all the time. No one would touch it.
Rumor has it that some attorneys were trying to have some type of dealing with her husband (Squire and Dempsy) so they could claim conflict of interest and avoid her court.

Carol Squire is under the great attack. But if we look at the entire system of how families are treated the entire system would be under attack. For example, examine the 90 days rule. No one pay attention to that. Children remain in foster care for years without any adjudication. Reply to that.

One of my dim memory-bulbs is starting to flicker. Buccaneer, did this judge's son get into trouble some years back (murder or arson?) and did you post an article about it?
If it's the thread I'm thinking about, there were trolls all over it, claiming to know the judge's son. Unfortunately I didn't keep the thread, so I might not have remembered it all correctly.

Denying a person access to an attorney should result in immediate disbarment and expulsion, IMO.

Exactly the thread! Wow, how'd you find that? I was wracking my brain.
Obviously I was mistaken, it was the prosecutor's kid, no this judge's...
