"But Ken Starr was not a seasoned prosecutor. And it may make a difference that Fitzgerald and Cheney are both Republicans, whereas, of course, Starr and Clinton were politically opposed. As a rule, prosecutors do not bite the hand of the party that feeds them."

WRONG! Fitzgerald is documented as non-party affiliated, and is specifically registered as having no party connection.
There was a caller on Rush yesterday that did exactly the same.
"We know, however, based upon what we have read and seen and heard that someone created fake documents related to Niger and Iraq and used them as a false pretense to launch America into an invasion of Iraq. And when a former diplomat made an honest effort to find out the facts, a plan was hatched to both discredit and punish him by revealing the identity of his undercover CIA agent wife."
Ok, given. Problem is these documents would have had to be created in the late 90's which means it came from the Clinton administration.
Secondly, No one from the administration sent Wilson to Niger. He went on behalf of someone in the CIA (same person who write the fake document)
Finally, it was common knowledge that Plame already was publicly known as working for the CIA before Rove/Libby or in the case of the MSM leaking and blaming Rove/Libby.
"It's beginning to look alot like Fitzmas"
