You will know we have a truly conservative President when the UN has been turned into the national monument of failure museum. But don't hold your breath until Jesus sets up shop.
Some very interesting comments/statements are coming out of the UN since Bolton arrived.
It played it's part in history by reinstating Israel...of course it's done it's best to squash it pretty much ever since.
How about New York uses the Kelo decision to raise the U.N. building to put up a Starbucks?

There is one thing a lot of people don't talk about, which I've pointed out repeatedly to Democrats and Liberals alike.
In 1996 Osama bin Laden was basically broke. He needed a state sponsor in order to carry out his jihad. He needed money, protection, and the ability to work independently from his sponsor. He considered Iraq, but Saddam Hussein is too much of a meddler and Osama wanted more independence. Afghanistan made an offer Osama couldn't refuse.
Osama now had protection and space to maneuver in. Now he needed money. In 1997 the Oil For Food program was conceived. In 1998 the program was corrupted almost immediately after it started up. Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein became flush with cash around the same time.
Now how suspicious is that?
