And this is the guy who thought it smart to run away from his president - twice??
What's your take on this Norm? Is this a biased org or are the initiatives in trouble.
I can't turn on the tube without seeing fifty union adds an evening. Someone mentioned the other day that after the election the union members will find out that the union has taking out years worth of loans to spend itself into oblivion in order to defeat these initiatives.
It will be interesting the take on that, if true.
My personal feeling about polls, none in particular, is they are geared toward the results you wish to achieve, not always necessarily accurate, rarely do they differ as much as the recent results of the SurveyUSA polls which showed all on the Gov'c props winning, so..
beats me what to say..
other than see ya at the polls, it's all about turnout.
I will probably Vote 4 up and 4 down or there abouts,, a couple do bear implementation now,, but the higher numbered ones are not in that crowd. ;-)
Never underestimate the fickleness, ignorance and self-destructive stupidity of California voters.
Thanks Norm.
I'll be there...
I hate the damn ads, btw.. a waste of time and money, imo..
The PPIC board info is here.. probably on the lib side of the spectrum but..
http://www.ppic.org/main/boardadvisory.asp
That's true, but in this state they sure don't get much help.
Geez, I wonder which polls the MSM will go with? As of right now, all polls are meaningless (I mean, they are litterally all over the place!).
They have been dead on in virtually every election for the past few years. The other polls are simply biased.
It's a lot closer than anyone in the Leftocracy wants to think.
After taking a look at some of their board members, it's a safe bet that the org does lean significantly left.
I can't imagine not wanting parental notification, but maybe married parents with children are now in a minority in California?
Married? You mean, TO EACH OTHER???
PPIC is leftist leaning. Better picture here:

I've seen those as well., the Field and SurveyUSA and PPIC vary just a wee bit to say the least.
This election ain't over 'til the Fat Lady sings.
Some consolation..
Approval for the Legislature was just 21 percent, with 65 percent disapproving and 14 percent undecided.

They're closing in on record territory ... again. ;-)
I voted
"SurveyUSA
They have been dead on in virtually every election for the past few years."
Yes, they predicted the recall vote very close and they also had Arnold winning. Arnold actually won by a greater margin than SurveyUSA predicted.
("Denny Crane: Gun Control? For Communists. She's a liberal. Can't hunt.")
I really wish they would ask those questions differently:
-Do you approve of the job the Democrats in the legislature are doing?
-Do you approve of the job the Republicans in the legislature are doing?
My guess is they would get a result exactly along partisan lines--good and bad.
