Hi, Louiebo! (((((hugs)))))

Thank you--I am so glad you liked it. I have always loved Norman Rockwell, and it is the first thing I thought of when I wanted to do a Thanksgiving graphic.

How are you doing this fine evening?

Beautiful pictures. Love the one of the Tomcat! And I feel like I'm on the bridge of a ship watching the others in that 3rd picture. Wow!

What a beautiful thread! I love Thanksgiving so much and I really had to take a peak in here. That is good advice to find a shelter and volunteer on the holiday. My oldest and I made thanksgiving place mats and table decorations last week for the families at the children's hospital. We had a great time making something together and we had a great discussion about how thankful we are for our health and our freedom. My Thanksgiving and Christmas wish is for our troops to be home next year with a mission completed.

Happy Thanksgiving to all at the finest!

do you know much about the pix you post? Not sure if they are just fun from web or some things you are into. Reason I am asking, I wonder how "high" the photogrpaher is/was in the first shot? I wonder if the photographer in the last was USN(thus the notation "released") just curious. I always appreciate seeing your cntributions! thank you!

Thank you so much for not only stopping by to visit but additonally for your kind words! I have not yet decided what I will be doing for the "vollunteer" this year. I think I want to go to VA & check things out. It is only about 8 miles from my home. Would like to see if a gentleman from Korea is still living. When I was in youth group at church we visited (LONG TIME AGO).. and I kept tract until college & then got self absorbed & lost him. Not sure if he is alive & don't recall his name, but somehow I think I will find him if he is still living. We need to share on the Thanksgiving thread next weekend what all we did, what you think?

I just got back from something like 14 hours in the hospital with my dad who had a detached retina; surgery was successful thank goodness.

We had to go to the town 40 minutes away, to two different hospitals, because there are only two doctors that do this surgery in the area.

Got the call at 9:30 and got home at 11:35. Am going to eat something; I'm starved.
