"They can protest all they want at the "Peace" House in town."

That assumes they are affiliated with the peace house.

Now, don't get me wrong - Cindy Sheehan and those she is associated with mean to harm our country and I don't really give a damn about them.

But the reaction to Cindy Sheehan shouldn't include making it impossible for an ordinary citizen from standing peacefully outside the ranch on public property. Peaceable assembly to criticize the government is a very important American right.

Hey they have a right to protest thanks to all of our Brave Soldiers, past and present. But protest where it is legal not on private property.

Bout time. These guys cost us a fortune every time they show up in extra police protection, etc. There's no constitutional right to block a right of way.

Besides, Crawford's playing in the regionals this week against the Prosper Eagles. That's the big news.

Only a dozen?
Where are the promised hundreds?

Aren't these liberals ever going to learn to count?

That's the best idea I've seen yet. Of course last August they would have enjoyed it and people around them would have appreciated it.

From what I understand, these people were blocking the roads all over the place preventing traffic from flowing, harrassing local citizens, making lots of noise at night and leaving trash and relieving themselves on private property and in the roadside ditches because they were too cheap and disrespectful to rent some port-a-johns.

While peaceable assembly to criticize the government is an important right, the right does not extend to trespassing and engaging in activities that harm public safety.
