I still think Iran already has a nuke. They are baiting Israel. When Israel responds then Iran has a reason to use them against Israel.

Israel has been building nukes since the 1950's and has between 200 and 400 of them including H-bombs.

That is enough to destroy ALL of their enemies except Russia.

STAY ARMED BUMP !

It is the year 2008, and Russia has suffered its worst wheat harvest in 55 years. Apparently desperate for food to feed its people, Soviet Russia and its Latin American allies launch a full scale invasion of the United States, and World War III breaks out. The Soviets destroy several major U.S. cities with ICBMs, especially key points of communication (Omaha and Washington, D.C. are specifically cited). Soviet troops and their socialist allies invade the U.S. in three waves.

The first wave are Russian transport aircraft that slip through U.S. radar disguised as commercial airlines. These planes contain crack Spetsnaz troops and Cuban Special Forces who parachute and occupy strategic towns and transportation hubs.

The second invasion force is composed of millions of Mexican, Nicaraguan, and other Central American socialist soldiers who simply pour across the U.S.-Mexico border into the center of the United States.

The Russians also invade Alaska from Siberia. They cross into Canada, cut the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System but are decisively stopped at the border by a large U.S. force. Much of the Progress of the war is hampered by leftist critics and liberalist/communists who believe America will be better off under tyrannical rule of Communism .

The Communist forces manage to occupy and control the central third of the United States, extending from the Rocky Mountains to the Mississippi River. Once the lines are stabilized, it becomes a conventional war with both sides ceasing the use of nuclear weapons. The Soviets establish puppet governments at the local level to help them maintain order.

We should have rounded up all the munitions that Russia sold Sadam in the months leading up to the war and returned them to the "insurgents" in Chechnya.

Putin is playing a very short sighted game. Russia's best hope for the future would lie in a pro-western alliance with the US, UK, India, and Japan. Continuing to play the same geopolitical games as the Soviet or Czarist regimes will only position Russia to be China's lap dog.

If Americans power wains in the 21st century it is only a matter of time till China's hand reaches out of the east to take from Russia whatever they want. Russia is an exhausted country obsessed with past glories. China is young, hungry, and strong. That conflict can only go one way.

Sounds like the plotline for the movie "Red Dawn" for a couple of decades ago

"Russia is playing a real dangerous game thinking that an Islamofacist bomb will benefit it."

Since Moscow is arming Mullah controlled Iran, Assad's Syria & Hugo Chavez Venezuela with vast & various quantities of offensive armaments, from nuclear weapons, missiles, to 100's of thousands of AK47's, would it not stand to reason those arming our enemies with the worst type of weapons in effect become - the enemy behind our enemies?

There are even a few on FR which continuing maintaining Putin's Russia is a 'real ally'/friend. With 'friends' like this we we better modernize & greatly expand America's ABM system, now.

Put this story together with another posted today, re IAEA chairman Muhammad ElBaradei on Monday confirmed Israel's assessment that Iran is only a few months away from creating an atomic bomb.

The combination practically demands immediate action, as the window of oportunity will soon close.

Unless there is a plan to take out Irani nuke capability without the use of airpower, that is.
