And a real heroic kinda guy too! You should have heard him tell the story of their departure from Beirut. His son was still flying with TWA when AA put us all down like sick dogs. I was privileged to crew the last trip of the "Beirut Bomber", the 727 that was their home for those weeks. If you knew where to look you could still find the bullet holes.

The balance of his sentence should be meted out by certain well-armed individuals from a rather large country in North America.

Ummm..... Mexico ?

Weren't there a couple of other US military on that flight? I may be confused....there was a movie about a German female flight attendant who tried to shield some passengers....the passengers were beaten by the hi jackers. I do remember the horror of our young Navy Man being killed.

I hope we are tapping any phone anywhere, anytime so we can get this murdering terrorist in custody.

Works for me.......now that he has served his sentence, it would be highly appropriate for someone to pop him. Give the future terrorists something to look forward to.

Sounds like Germany has a twisted worthless parole system like ours. They focus on comapssion the the criminal, not the victims.

I dont think we have heard the last of this new model ciitizen released on the world, plenty of jihad employment opportunities for a fresh parolee.

And the judge that released him........that would be maybe send a message to those who believe justice to be a game.

Yeah, right. There was "no connection" between the release of this murdering terrorist and the release of the German woman being held by other terrorists in Iraq. In the immortal words of Dame Margaret Thacher, the Germans have "gone wobbly," again.

Since this terrorist tortured and murdered an American SEAL after finding his identity on a hijacked plane, I think the Americans should use the "Munich Option." We should hunt down and kill this subhuman creature, wherever we might find him in the world.

Anyone and any nation that does not like that option, can kiss our national *ss.

Did I miss anything?

Exactly what I was going to say Laserman. This guy murders a US Navy sailor in cold blood and gets turned loose to go back and plot more murders.

Germany is no friend of the United States.

A spokesman for the Foreign Ministry, Martin Jaeger, said there was no connection between Hamadi's release and the recent freeing of former hostage Susanne Osthoff, a German woman released over the weekend after spending more than three weeks as a captive in Iraq.

I wonder if the Krauts are reestablishing their alliance with the Muslim world as in WWII. This war on terror gets bigger every day.

There is an unwritten rule regarding high level "regime" adjustments. On the whole I'd like to see this vermin taken out al la the story line in "Munich".

However unlike Arafat who was never censured, I'd like to see that Dentist in Syria have a complete periodontal gum scraping preferably through his anus!!!

Maybe Steven Spielberg will make a movie about what happens when you don't kill these murderers, and he can put in the regret felt by the Stethem family that their son's killer has been given a new lease on life.

Germans assure us that there is no relationship between the release of this to life convicted terror killer after 17 years.
Nor is there supposedly no connection with their just released hostage Susanne Osthoff.
Hezbollah announces that this prisoner safely arrived in Libya.
Germans originally refused to hand him over as the U.S. has a death penalty.
If money went along is currently debated in German media.

The Israelis like to use a .22 caliber bullet for thugs like this one.
This `lowly' caliber has enough muzzle energy to penetrate the skull, but then it just rattles around.
Peace be upon you, `Lion of Islam'.
