How did I know that before I read the article? I must be psychic.
Good point. And welcome to FreeRepublic.
I, for one, am glad this was posted. It brings the situation to my attention, which is why FR is here, to keep us informed.
Then Rockerfeller needs to resign from the Senate, as he is, by his own addmission, unable to perform those functions that he was elected for.
That would rid the Congress of one, of the probable hundred, in that body that would sell this country down the river.
Does anyone else see that the Intelligence community, and most likely the CIA are trying to undermine this administration? I would be willing to bet that the CIA is actively trying to overthrow this President. They did the same thing with Nixon, and are now leaking everywhere, while hiding information that will make him look good.
Bet we've found the leaker.....
I still think Rockefeller is one of the leakers.
I think you are right on that guess. I think we have a "vast left wing conspiracy" on our hands.
Welcome to FR..sniff.

Dedicated to the men, women and children who lost their lives;
all those who sacrificed their lives;
And to all the Heroes that responded to the emergency 11 September 2001
THIS is what our Nation is responding to.
Please remember that in the difficult times ahead.
Good news..but he is still a judge..That's the bad news.
I think Rockefeller is a likely source .
OH BOY...W can now pick a patriotic judge to fill vacancy. ;o)
Hugh Hewitt's website says that 'somehow the news fails to mention' this judge has been actively anti-Bush for years.
As I posted yesterday on a like thread...
Did this judge lose his clearance?
He can give any reason why he quit and the government may not be at liberty to discuss the basis for his removal.
Did Valerie Plame retire or did she loose her clearance?
Every time the rank and file Senators complain that they didn't see the same intel the Admin saw on Iraq, I'm reminded that the reason they don't is that they were leaking like a sieve when the Bush Admin came in, so the Bush Admin stopped briefing the full Senate, and only gave the NIEs and SNIEs to the Intelligence Committee so that if it leaked they could pinpoint the leak. This actually started a big part of the war on Bush that we see today... the Senators don't take their prerogatives being trampled on lightly.
Of course, I'm sure the leaking was coming from Leahy or Rockefeller in the first place, so the benefits were prob. marginal.
OH BOY...W can now pick a patriotic judge to fill vacancy. ;o)
