It seems like the Iran Dictator wants to send the world back into the Dark Ages, or destroy the planet. That seems to be his plan.

The crackdown follows months of disturbances in the SBCTS, where drivers and the personnel is asking for better work conditions and increase of their salaries, freezed since at least four years while prices for everything in Iran has raised by more than ten times, particularly housing rents and basic food.

But that conflicts with the popular central banker's theory that rising wages cause inflation. I think unemployment over there is something like 30%, too. Merry Christmas.

Too bad Bloomy didn't fire the entire TWU, he could have "in-sourced" these drivers!

Yes

Thanks for the ping

This hasn't got any coverage in your country's media and we feel left alone by the media around the world

If CNN could allocate 10 mins of its daily program to real human rights issues in Iran, the regime would fall faster

NYC Drivers and Union Workers could go on strike and get away with it while workers in Iran are beaten and jailed for claiming their very rights!

Ironic, if you ask me

If they were secretely plotting a strike...let's cut them a little slack (just a little).

You won't find any sympathy for union members around here.

If something like that happened here I wouldn't be surprised to hear some freepers cheer the move against them.

Sorry if I confused...the slack was for the gov't officials.
The crackdown follows months of disturbances in the SBCTS, where drivers and the personnel is asking for better work conditions and increase of their salaries, freezed since at least four years while prices for everything in Iran has raised by more than ten times, particularly housing rents and basic food.
Sorry it isn't the government of Iran that needs some slack here.

Khashayar, the US media is complicite with the terrorists. There is no way on earth they would disclose what is happening in Iran.

I only hope that the Iranian people will stand with these poor men who have been taken.

"freezed"?

Iranian President "AmazingJihad" would have the journalist's hands cut off, for grammar errors like this!
{sarcasm} ;-)

That's right...the normal Iranians better get a handle on this ASAP, or they will get their chaos. Diplomacy, and U.S.A. "checkbook diplomacy" is not working this time. Neither is Europe's, and U.N.'s "tsk tsk'ing. The little, evil dictator seems bent on creating chaos.
