Well that's the only thing I can come up with, too!

I said, I think. I CAN have an opinion.

Of course you are entitled to an opinion. You are even free in America to express a bald-face lie. Most old-hand FR posters try to use evidence as a basis for posted opinions just so they do not use the same tactics that partisan democrts use to undermine conservatives. In posting it, it becomes an "honesty thing" if you know what I mean. As for Rangel, I want him defeated fairly in the next election.

And it's a good one. Nice thinking.

Notice he says I never accepted money from Abramoff? To him it's different if the money came from a group affiliated with Abramoff rather then DIRECTLY from him.

Leftist duplicity marches on.

"Most old-hand FR posters try to use evidence as a basis for posted opinions..."

Evidence is unnecessary when expressing an opinion. An opinion can be based on a 'sense', a 'feeling'. An informed opinion on the other hand would require some sort of evidence.

Do you think the Post just did a hatchet job on Rangel?

Rangel is getting out in front of a scandal that could expose Congress to a lot of insider wheeling and dealing.

Many Native Americans seem to be obsessed in giving their limited funds to any assortment of democrats. They need to use their money on something other than buying congress people.

Unfortunately it's not just democrats. Here's some more info on Abramoff and his connections to big time republican, white house advisor Grover Norquist complete with copies of the checks.

http://michellemalkin.com/archives/000318.htm

Norquist owes a public apology to fellow Republicans whom he has smeared as bigots for raising fundamental questions about Alamoudi and the Islamist-supporting apparatus in America. More importantly, Norquist owes answers about why he partnered with a known terrorist sympathizer, whether or not he now defends Alamoudi, when he plans to stop hiding behind the race card, and what exactly he plans to do to disavow Islamist influences.[snip]

Do you think it is possible that the Post did a Tomahawk job on Rangel?

If the Democrats were to regain control of the House, idiot Rangel would become the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee. Doesn't that thought just warm your heart?

"I have worked on behalf of the interests of Native Americans in New York and throughout the nation because of my longstanding solidarity with the aspirations of Native Americans."

Hopefully, he's planning to quit congress as soon as he collects enough to build his very own casino.
