Not a great time to be traveling over the pass to Oregon.
It may not be so bad though ice wise with the warm weather.
Better be careful she might not care to come back.
Is the Shakespeare Plays on right now in Ashland?

Not to worry. You can always find a replacement.

If you don't live there you can pronouce it anyway you like.
I have heard both, but in the area they say Gurn'ville.

or Gurnville? That's my take on it. I live in Eureka about 150 miles north.
Some vineyards have been flooded many times and thrive...

Things are fine in Rancho Cordova. I live about 5 miles from Rancho and there was only minor localized flooding. The Nimbus dam is nearby and have done releases throughout the week into the American river to make room for runoff from the sierra's. nothing to worry about. After tonight no rain until Thursday.

We just had an article posted here the other day blaming the Bears for eatiing all the grapes.
I think one way or another they are going to hike up the prices. JMO
Napa Valley is a wonderful place.
Haven't been there in 20yrs but it was great back then.

LOL, when you're 19 and you only have $5.00 in your pocket, it's like champaign.
At least that's the way I remember it. The 60's were a long time ago...

It is a nice area, but we've been cured of our west coast ways. MO is our home now. The weather is cold here, but the people are warm:). I saw lots of 50 year old men with long gray pony tails, earrings, and tie died shirts on last time we visited southern OR. I felt really bad for them.

Yes this is true.
I poisoned myself (not intentionally) in my youth with NightTrain and Vodka never could touch either one again.
Just the thought makes me queasy.

Yes how unfortunate that is what is down there.
Eastern Oregon is men in Wrangler and Cowboy hats.
Where I am on the coast we have a mix of FReeper and DUmmie types.
We actually can co exist but funny not in the same neighborhoods.

I have some pretty fuzzy memories of some antics I pulled back then as well
Boones Farm or Ripple caused some monumental hang overs that lasted for days.
Well, let me rephrase that, the hang overs didn't last for days, we
would just continue the party for who knows how long...LOL
