Does an employer have a "property right" in the jobs it creates?
Does an employee have a "property right" in the job he has?
Does a government have the "power" to regulate when and where a job can move in or out of its jurisdiction
All of these are a "No". Mayor Mennino is a worthless hack who has done nothing to reduce the costs to business in this city. In fact, he wants to increase them. But his name is on every sign in the city. I voted for him the first time because the alternative was worse. Have voted blank for mayor since.
Any one of their "associates" who objects to moving out of that Hell Hole to Merrimack, NH needs serious psychiatric observation and treatment!
No, they are exporting jobs out of a Communist-controlled country.
Aren't you being knda hard on Ol' Mumbles? :-)
When they moved 4000 people to Merrimack,NH 7 years ago those people didn't gain anything. Unless you consider no 5.5% income tax, no sales tax, housing prices about 50% less, not needing to lock your door at night and not worrying about be involved in some drive by shooting an advantage.
Live free or die. God bless NH.
Perhaps Boston could do something to attact WalMarts attention.
:-) There are WalMarts here, but I think that they may be all out in the suburbs.
I recently read that half the students in Boston's schools are now black. Could this be a case of white flight?
