It's more insidious than that. Matt is obviously risk adverse - he wants to discriminate against smokers, but he's not sure if the "overwhelming majority of his customers" are non-smokers, so he wants the government to level the playing field for him.

Good call!! Yeah...THAT makes front page/headline news...as does Cheney's hunting accident. This will NEVER be reported to the public in the other 48 states. IF, however, the bans had PASSED in both states-it would've been front page in every newspaper & every lead-in story on every station/network on TV. DEAR GOD, how I DESPISE the media!!! THEY'RE the biggest threat to this country-NOT terrorists.
