And they say only cops should have guns. How stupid.

I'm almost embarassed for them. Almost. Sadly theres always enough of these bozos around doing their best to make their colleagues, who just want to do their job and go home safely, miserable

Definitely wouldn't want to be in the same squad car with either of these two.

When I was in the service, a watchstander pointed an empty weapon at me and pulled the trigger. I can still feel the chill I felt as I realized what he had done. You showed great restraint in not pummeling him. I dont care if I just inspected the weapon and handed it to someone, if they pointed it at me and pulled the trigger my first reaction would be to disarm them, violently.

This outta get Cheney off the hook!
To: usurper
Yes, I should have broken his arm, but the unreality of the situation and the fact that I was a newcomer led me to inaction. I'm quite sure there would not have been legal reprecussions had I reacted violently, but it may have cut my career short.

What was it the DEA dude said? "I'm the only one I know, the only one in this room professional enough to carry a glock .40..."

I took this from another Freeper-I keep it pinned up in my office for just such situations:

Those are two stupid people. The fact that they are cops doesn't make them stupidity, just the entire situtation scarier.
