GOOD!
Is this good or bad?
Which part of "ENFORCE THE EXISTING LAW" don't these toads understand??? Let the INS or ICE do it's job!!! Seriously punish those who employ the illegals and the issue is solved.
The status quo wins again and you will not get the border security you want either.
That is what happens when one unmovable force meets another. The illegal will continue to flow as per agreement.
If we are lucky enough to have this amnesty crap killed and the Congress Critters come home for break, that would be a good time for them to hear from us in serious volume.
No bill is BETTER than a disasterous bill, as DIRE as the current status is.
NO Amnesty - NO TALK of Amnesty - until our BORDERS ARE SECURE!
And they should have been secured shortly after 911 if all this "Homeland Security" talk isn't just a bunch of Big Brotherist crap!
Read upthread.
What's the rush?
It separates illegal immigrants now in the U.S. into three categories.
The acrimony in the Senate at Thursday night's end was a sharp contrast to the phony baloney accolades 14 members of both parties traded just hours earlier when they announced their compromise.
If it can't pass the senate then you know it's dead ten times over in the house of representatives.
HR 4437 needs to be enacted yesterday, then funded and implemented by Monday.
After the Border is secure, THEN they need to have the boots on the streets to enforce whatever form of shamnesty they can get through WHEN WE ARE SECURE!
Which would imply that it is to the Republican's political advantage to have passed this bad bill. I think Specter has a fatal case of Potomac Fever.
LOL! I know, politicians and their Politboro.
Regards . . . Penny

I don't think a new law would matter. It won't get enforced just like the old law doesn't get enforced. As the AP indicates, this was all about citizenship rewards for the illegals already here.
