OK. Who will be the first to write an "angry-email diatribe at Bill Clinton" (whatever that is). We need further clarification from our "leader", Seattle P.I. columnist Joel Connelly - should the angry e-mail be addressed to Bill Clinton or Mr. Connelly? Or is "e-mail" just another way of saying Free Republic post?
What has Mr. Connelly written in the past to incur the wrath of Freepers?

How mush does the DNC pay all the media outlets to bash the President and Republicans?

Joel sounds like a paranoid little twit.

Rich Republicans paid $2,100 apiece to get their pictures taken backstage with CheneyAs opposed to even richer Democrats like Maria Cantwell?

I don't see FR mentioned in this... or?If, as is not uncommon, this column gets sent out on the right-wing FreeRepublic.com Web site, angry e-mail diatribes at Bill Clinton will follow.

Good Lord, Joel.
What gay man didya have to mug for that sweater?

Free Republic is mentioned in this sentence:
"If, as is not uncommon, this column gets sent out on the right-wing FreeRepublic.com Web site, angry e-mail diatribes at Bill Clinton will follow."
I want instructions about where and how to send these e-mails. As a right-winger, I'm sure Mr. Connelly thinks I am too stupid to figure this out (or what to write) on my own. I need a Seattle P.I. columnist to tell me what to think and what to say.

What a WHINER (the author).
It doesn't even rise to the level of journalism.

Much to this jackasses' chagrin, I'm sure, I've never heard of him (the "writer", I mean). At least these nitwits ADMIT the "great Clintoon" abused the system. If it's something all Presidents have done, is it really "abuse"?
I hope this is an editorial, since it is such blatant politically motivated speech, written in what barely passes as a newspaper---even in the northwest.
And, Hell yes, I'll send them a "Clinton diatribe" email----since they insist!

On the actual topic of the President and Vice President's travel - we have to keep them safe - its too important to do otherwise and as long as we remain a Republic our leaders will need to travel and be involved in politics and fund raising.
Perhaps the critics would prefer we do away with elections?

The 'Toon was on the road campaigning constantly--for 8 years! Relatively speaking, my guess is that Bush & Cheney have reduced these costs.

Sounds like good ol' Joel needs to go back to school to learn the definition of "journalism", or is he what passes for an editor at this yellow rag?
It's rather surprising the paper isn't called the "Seattle Democrat".
Since Mr. Connelly has given us a written invitation to send email, maybe he just enjoys "fan email". He probably doesn't get much otherwise.
