How much do the White House correspondents for the Seattle Post-Intelligencer pay for their seats aboard Air Force One or Two when they travel with the President or Vice-President? Hint: It's far far less than the actual cost by a factor of a magnitude or two.

Obligatory angry email sent to expectant columnist Joel Connelly.
Joel Connelly is best likened to a half naked bimbo in church, cares not what one thinks of them, just so long as they get attention for whatever reason.

No charge, presstitute freebie.

Since Mr. Connelly has given us a written invitation to send email, maybe he just enjoys "fan email". He probably doesn't get much otherwise. Now, liberals will send him e-mails and act like they are freepers and he will publish it saying we are hateful and such... sort of like whats going on with Michelle Malkin's website right now with those anti-war pukes.

No charge, presstitute freebie. Yep, pro bono. In their eyes.

I'm curious--why would I email anything to the P-I, or elsewhere, about an article by an author nobody reads?
I don't know what the controversy is here. Politicos of both parties screwing the taxpayer for political gain. Nothing news there, move along, nothing to see here unless it's a Republican...

I can't believe this is an actual story. IF this was a thing that the Republican administrations do then MAYBE, but every administration since the beginning of aviation has done this. I am so sick of this nonsense. People don't realize how exciting it is for military folks to see the President or Vice President come to the bases and for the population to see them come to their cities. That is worth so much more than a few million. President Clinton came to our ship and everyone was excited to see the PRESIDENT (didn't matter if it was him, just the office was great). Why do these democrats have to complain about EVERYTHING?

We've just seen more flagrant use and abuse under Dubya and the Dicky bird. The p.o.s. couldn't help himself. He HAD to lie. It's his nature.

I'm trying to figure out the same thing.

Perhaps the critics would prefer we do away with elections?
Ironically what the critics want is for the entire campaign cost to be subsidized by the federal government. Thus the two party system will be entrenched and arcana used to weed out the riff raff and punish the occasional fallen angel. Huge gobs of money will be spent during the election process enriching msm and other mass media outlets.

Actually, a lot of corporations have gone over to video conferencing.
It would save the taxpayer a lot of dollars just to have some big spending politician, like Bush, just make a video call to get his campaign money instead of spending millions to go in person.

This guy, Connelly, is a liberal propagandist. Connelly's idiotic rants advance the usual leftist nonsense: Global Warming, Halliburton Contracts, Iraq = Vietnam, Fox News Blows, Endangered Spotted Owls, Save the Ice in Alaska, Save the Trees, Hail Democrats Hang Republicans, and so on ad nauseam.

We've just seen more flagrant use and abuse under Dubya and the Dicky bird. Oh BS. I notice that he doesn't even try to back that up with fact. I guess along with being stupid he to lazy to actually come up with any numbers.
I have noticed this tendency with whinny reporters who have to sleep with the boss to keep their job.

I believe those organizations use 'souls' as the denomination of their currency. Does anyone know the conversion.

The cost to Hillary for using AF1 for her senate campaign was never an issue because she was First Lady(and Bill would say "Thats no lady. Thats my subservient willing to accept a philander and likely rapist as a husband wife.)and security was a bigger issue than money.

And what about the Clintons' trip to Africa when they took 500 of their best friends with them and spent millions of taxpayer's money. Not one complaint from the MSM.
