Take a day off if necessary and take the child to a museum. Educational, family bonding and you will be safe in the knowledge that your child has missed absolutely NOTHING by avoiding St. Hillary Day.

My kid would be sick that day. This is so like the left, pretending to be helping the children. This will be politics that is for sure.
To: Belleview
Well if you dont send him he wont miss much.

"Would like advice Hillary is coming to my child's school" Find the biggest cloths pin in your draw and put it on your nose before entering the school.

For certain, the kid will then be expelled, and he'll miss her heinous altogether!;)

Of course, the kid could enter holding the book "Do As I Say (Not As I Do)" - but then it would be confiscated in a second.

Put a wreath of garlic around your son's neck if you send him to school that day.

"no parents or friends would be admitted."
They are wrong. It's your school and your kid.
Your kid needs a field trip that day.

I've considered not sending him to school, but I'm not sure if that is the right thing to do. A garlic necklace should keep them safe.

Some States have strict attendance standards. Depending upon the rank of the person in the School District who arranged Mrs. C's visit, your child's record may be marked with an unexcused absence.
If your desire to prevent your child from being exposed to Hillary's political blathering is stronger than your desire to make your own political statement about Hillary's presence, providing a legitimate excuse for your daughter's absence after the event may prevent future problems for your daughter with the school authorities.

The program will not be taped (for later viewing of parents) as Clinton's press secretary will not allow it. So I can't even review what was said or hold anyone accountable. Supposedly this event is not to be used for political purposes. So what is it for? She's going to try to terrorize the kids for life, saying stuff like Republicans kill puppies. Who'd know any different? The parents are banned.
I'd keep my kid home from school that day. All parents should do the same if they're not even allowed to hear the propaganda being fed to their children.

Oops, I'm sorry, I should have written your son not your daughter.

I can't imagine why it is a closed door function. Hillary loves an audience - the more the merrier. There is nothing in it for Hillary talking to a room of kids only. Something isn't right here.

Sick day? LOL, that's what I would do, enjoy a day in the park, go out to eat, go to the toy store.
To: wizardoz
I agree with you. There is no way on this earth that I'd let a politician talk to my children without me being present. No way. Just the fact that they won't allow the parents speaks volumes. All the kids in all the classes should be kept home that day. Let her talk to the walls.

Unfortunately the event is tomorrow. I didn't learn about it until last night, and I learned about the no-video tape rule today.
I've run out of time to do much.
