She doesn't want someone else to control a video. That really doesn't surprise me. You can't just take a video camera into most appearances and speeches these people make. That doesn't mean they don't have their own photographers.

Keep your child home that day. Claim the child is sick.

Here's what I wrote when HRC visite my kid's school:

As you know, Mrs. Clinton is on a mission to save American schoolchildren from eeeevil guns. On March 1, [2000] she went to Valley Cottage (NY) Elementary School and had a group of fourth and fifth graders recite a no-gun pledge — making them promise that they will “never, ever” go near a gun: “If you know of any guns in your house or in the houses of your uncles, cousins, friends or neighbors, I want you to promise you will never, ever go near them,” she said. “I want you to promise you will never, ever play with anybody who goes near them, and I want you to promise you will never, ever pick up a gun with any idea of using it against another person.” The First Lady told the children that if they knew of an adult who owned a gun, they should tell the adult to lock it up or take it out of the house altogether.

“Would you do that as good citizens for us?” directed Mrs. Clinton. The children dutifully answered, “Yes.” And, “I promise.” That day, Mrs. Clinton posted a story on her website (www.hillary2000.org) titled, “Hillary Calls on Students to Stay Away From Guns.”

Two days later, on March 3, [2000] my seventh-grade daughter called me from her school, the Robert E. Bell Middle School in Chappaqua, NY: “Mommy, I’m scared. There are men in the halls with guns!” Hillary Clinton, new resident of our town, was coming to Bell School. Secret Service and dogs were crawling over the place.

I phoned the school. The receptionist told me that the First Lady was giving a presentation at a citizenship assembly. Unprompted, she assured me that Senate candidate Clinton’s appearance would “not be political.” But why, I asked, had parents not been notified ahead of time? The receptionist advised me to call the Board of Education.

A Board secretary repeated, though I didn’t ask, that it was “not a campaign stop.” It was arranged — and this is word for word what the secretary told me — “by the Immigration and Naturalization Service, which bypassed the school system.” The secretary said the school only found out about the visit 12 hours earlier. (The INS. Well, at least it wasn’t a SWAT team.)

Finally, I reached the middle school principal. I asked, yet again, why the parents weren’t notified ahead of time. The principal told me that the school had been ordered by Hillary’s security not to disclose any information ahead of time about her visit — to anyone.

Meanwhile, my child called again to tell me that it was very “scary” at school, agents were everywhere, the children had to stand outside all their classes for searches. She said that as some of the children acted up, several of the agents deliberately pulled opened their suit jackets, pointedly revealing their firearms.

The bottom line is, despite her anti-gun advocacy trips to suburban schools, the only person bringing guns into my kid’s school was Hillary Clinton.

Good grief the paranoia on this thread is arguably in need of medical attention.

Couldn't disagree with you more.

Must be a public school. I don't think she'd get away with this in a private school.

I might not let my child attend, if I felt strongly against Hilary (as I do). I also would not let him do things with his school (the one year he attended) where parents were not allowed -- personally, I think that lends itself to abuse, whether it happens or not. Secrets?? Not with my child.

I would not send my child that day. The best thing is, he'll be used by Hillary for her foul purposes; the worst thing is, he'll be used in some sort of ad praising her name. Uck.

"That doesn't mean they don't have their own photographers"

BINGO. Exactly.

The only tape is what Hillary's photo/video guy takes.

And I bet parents won't have a say in whether Hillary uses their kids in her campaign commercial.

If I were in your shoes, I'd:

- Talk to other parents and try and get some support against this. Get someone to volunteer to be the designated babysitter (db).
- Keep as many kids home that day as possible, cared for by the db.
- Get a permit to protest as close to the school as possible.
- On the day that Hillary's gonna be there, show up with signs (NO SECRETS HILDABEASTE! comes to mind) and raise Hell.
- Make sure your local media knows about this so they can cover it.
- If possible, try and have protesters near every school entrance. That way The Hildabeaste can't duck you.
- Consider that if you raise enough Hell The Hildabeaste and her bootlickers may decide it's not worth it. If this happens, be sure to let the press know so they can get quotes from the bootlickers as to why they canceled. (THAT should be interesting :)

Why can't Hillary go to her own New York schools and leave our School alone?

She did.

She went to my kids elementary school back when she was running for senator.

The joke going around the school that day was the kids should hide their pencils else they may wind up like the silverware in the W.H..

Where do the kids pick up such remarks. :)

I'm with you -- raise holy he]] and move. She does not even brush her teeth without an agenda -- truer words were never spoken. I wouldn't trust her with my pet goldfish, let alone my kid.

Ok, here's what you do.

First, get your kid one of those voice/memo recorders. Teach them how to use it so they will be able to leave it sitting in a shirt pocket, but still record everything that is said.

Second, get your kid a plain, pocket style tshirt that will hold the voice recorder easily enough in the pocket. Then have an iron on image of Monica Lewinsky or Vince Foster transferred onto the tshirt. Maybe one of the really funny photoshopped pics of the wicked witch herself.

Third, make sure your kid gets in the very front row, so the microphone will be sure to pick up everything that's said, and the witch will be sure to see the great tshirt your kid is wearing

Fourth, rehearse some good questions for your kid to ask if they are given a chance to ask any questions. Something about old Crusty or her cankles, etc...

Failing all that, I would keep my kid home, or at least out of arms reach.

"She doesn't want someone else to control a video."

I just wanted a COMPLETE record of the event. The tech person usually tapes the ENTIRE event. I wanted to know what Hillary Rodham Clinton and Blanche Lincoln said to the children.

Since there is no room to allow parents or guests I thought that was a normal request. But Clinton's Press Secretary would not allow a RECORD of the event.

You think Bush, or any Republican Senator would do it any differently? You think people are allowed in to Bush's appearances at schools and such with cameras?

Tell your child to ask "What about Bill?" in the question and answer session.

You've got to see this. Info blackout, predatory tactics (parents banned)... what will Hillary Clinton say to the children? Commies would take these sorts of school opportunities to find out oh, a little bit about the parents.

How many of you kiddies have guns in your home? Don't be shy, raise your hands!

This isn't just any person. It is the head of technology for the school who ALWAYS video tapes events at the school.

Whatever the reason for Clinton's people not allowing it, it prevents ME from knowing what was said and how she was treated.

There is nothing that could come out of Hillary's mouth that I would want my child to hear. By keeping your daughter out of this, it is one hour of indoctrination she won't be receiving.

Looking at the pictures of President Bush having his picture taken with our soldiers and Olympians, I would say the answer to that question would be "yes". I would also venture to say that he would stay a few minutes longer for a snapshot with anyone who wanted one.

If you were paranoid, of course you'd disagree!

I guess I long for the day when politics was politics, but a title like former First Lady or Senator was still due some respect. The child gets a chance to meet a Senator that very well may run for president. Sure, I'd tell the kid why I didn't and will not vote for her, but this poisonous politics of hatred for the opposing party is going to make this country impossible to govern. It's not good.

I think I'd pull my child without hesitation.

Sure, I'd prefer that my child were trained well enough at home to even confront Shrillery with her lies etc. but that's asking too much of any child.

Besides . . . what about 'the liberal insanity cooties' that Shrillery has to be awash in. They're dangerous!

Or,

the evil demonic spirit guides clammering along with the globalist tyrant are plenty dangerous . . .

Or,

She makes such a hideous mockery of all that's human, female and in any hint of authority that you don't want your precious ones contaminated by such awful realities . . .

Or,

The customary wild lesbian orgies and attacks on her husband as well as on Marine and other guards are such a horrible example that you have to protect your kids from it . . .

Or,

You just simply can't stomach subjecting your kids to being that close to the Felon in chief.

I disagree.

Hillary doesn't present very well. Her people skills are a joke.

Why deny your kid a good laugh?
