The GOP controls all three branches of Gov.
If the GOP wanted to make changes in the Capital Police,
they've got the power to do it.
It's just another example of how they all get off scott free. Sandy Burglar, Mary Macrory, and now another Kennedy.

Rep. Kennedy was reportedly behind the wheel of a green Ford Mustang when it crashed into a security barrier at 1st and "C" streets Southeast.
Liberals are relieved it wasn't an fuel hog like a Chevy Suburan.

This security checkpoint is located between a Metro station and the House Cannon Office building. It's also at a wide open intersection. I've driven by it countless times (and never hit anything!). It's not like this is some tricky entrance that's not obvious or difficult to negotiate. Rep. Kennedy works in the Cannon Building therefore he has to be very familiar with this particular entrance.

A Boston TV station is reporting Kennedy told officers he was late for a vote. We are told police drove him home after conferring with higher-ups in the department.
If he truly late for a vote, then why did the cops not drop him offat the Capitol? Damned Kennedys.
