Who cares. He was driving impared and lied to the police.

If I did that, I would still be in jail.

You have your head turned in the wrong direction: it isn't God giving these Kennedys a chance again and again, and we can know this by their actions, serving the father of lies,a murderer from the start. Satan protects those who serve his agenda.

Great place
Posted by cwwood on Feb 08, 2006
A little pricey, but its worth every penny. The service is great, especially bartender, < see link >. It is the perfect place to stop by after work and get a drink and undwind. Weekend breakfast is also very good, so check it out.

googling again:

"Gastroenteritis, or inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract, and causes fever, diarrhoea and/or vomiting.

Gastroenteritis usually is of acute onset, normally lasting less than 10 days and self-limiting.

Gastroenteritis is also known as the stomach bug

If the Gastroenteritis inflammation is limited to the stomach, the term gastritis is used, and if the small bowel alone is affected it is enteritis."

"Will his medical records be spread all over the internet, the way Rush Limbaugh's were?"

We both know the answer to that question...

Too bad. I read somewhere he's not only a known alchy, but also suffers "bipolar disorder". Nonethless, there he sits.... elected.

Weather it was booze (likely) or 'prescription' drugs, he was driving under the influence of a controlled substance and should be treated as such.

"That ambien is a knockout pill."

For some people it's a knock out pill. I have been given lots of Versid and Demerol prior to a procedure and can still carry on a normal conversation with the doctor. I need about 3X the drugs as another patient, for the same effect. It's just genetics, I think.

It never mentions any passengers. Usually, accidents give some indication whether another person was in the car or not. I'm betting there was.

If the perscription bottles on the medications given to Rep. Kennedy specifically state NOT to operate machinery after taking the medication, he will be booked on DUI charges in no time flat.

Freepers in the DC area can confirm this: the Hawk and Dove is a purely drinking establishment. No one in one's right mind would eat there. And the restrooms are worse. BUT it has the best atmosphere and cheapest drafts in the area--and it doesn't try to be other than it is--a dive where you can drink for not too much $$.

Lines I stole from callers on Don Wade and Roma's "Einstein Hotline" this morning:

The olive doesn't roll far from the martini glass.

Expect to see Pat wearing a family heirloom.

What’s your favorite Hill bar?

That’s a tough one, because even though I’ve been to a lot of them, I don’t really remember them all that well. However, I have stolen a pint glass from Hawk and Dove, so I’m pretty sure it’s a good place. I think you can group them into three categories: Tortilla Coast and Bullfeathers, Pennsylvania Avenue, and Mass Avenue. TC and BF’s have the worst food in Washington. Pennave has the most hot House staffers. Massave just sucks. Except for La Loma, which has the best sangria in Washington. And there’s nothing like a cold glass of Sangria on a hot summer Wednesday morning in Washington!

What’s the best place to live on Capitol Hill?

I think this is a stupid question, because there aren’t really any good places to live on Capitol Hill. Unless you like having nothing to do on the weekend. In that case, anywhere is fine. Seriously, don’t insult me. But, if someone put a gun to my head and said I’ll shoot if you don’t tell me where the best place to live on the Hill is, I’d say Hawk and Dove. I’d sleep under the bar. That’s also a great metaphor. Think about it.
