I'd watch it now and then. When the 'shroom and pot smoking Aaron Sorkin was still writing the scripts did have some pithy dialog.
Once John Spencer died in real life, I had no reason to watch.

I'm damn proud to say that I haven't degraded myself by watching TV for some time. Is Sky King still on?

Well I'll miss it. It was always good for a hearty laugh, because inevitably one of the cast would foam at the mouth at having to deal with a Republican, if not all the staff. And they reran the first episode, where Leo called all Christians stupid, and mocked them as did the other staff members.
The show had no qualms about showing Dems at the worst, and apparently proudly! It just showed it isn't in our minds, and to me, it was humorous to watch. Kinda like reading the DUmmie FUnnies.

I'll probably be one of the only ones to say this on Free Republic - but I watched the show. I thought it was well acted and well written. No, I didn't agree with all the positions, but it was a great show, and I will miss it.

I know many others found the show well written, but I watched episode number one of the first season and was turned off by the writing, which was full of the kind of unlikely, tortured set-ups beloved of writers who want to show off their own cleverness. I recall an Oval Office meeting with three "right wing" evangelists who were momentarily stumped by a reference to the first commandment. This created an oppotunity for the first appearance of the POTUS, who was heard off camera saying, "I am the Lord thy God, " etc.
First, love them or hate them, right wing Christians know what the first commandment is.
Second, no President would make a joke like this in front of people who will be spreading the word the minute they leave the White House.
Third, what's the point? That the modern President is like a god? This certainly wasn't the premise of the show.
