Your son might understand this. I was surprised at how much my nephews knew about the steroid use.
Honestly at 8 years old I would rather he not yet. It is a shame that we have these fake sports heros that end up screwing up our kids and your nephews.

The achievement is incredible. Add to that these guys didn't have fitness trainers 24/7 and coaches who conveniently let slide certain peccodilloes(sp), like jamming needles into their butts.

They made during the live Yankees-Mets coverage on this subject that was a classic. I think it was Tim McCarver who said something along these lines . . .
"In all my years in baseball I never could have imagined how anti-climactic it would be when someone tied Ruth's career home run total. Look at that clip of the home run we just saw on FOX . . . it was like just any other highlight clip from a major league game today."
