Pakistani hash was always pretty low-grade. Look for "Temple Ball" hash. Zowee! Of course I just heard that somewhere! I really wouldn't know..........

You got me there.
I've always thought that anyone shirking military service in Israel was a social pariah and that honorable service in the IDF was an essential to rising in Israeli society.

Marijuana is less addictive than alcohol or tobacco.
Sure it is. How long have you been smoking it?

Sure it is.Of all those who have used marijuana, 9% have at some point become dependent; the corresponding figures for alcohol and tobacco are 15% and 33%.
How long have you been smoking it?
I haven't used it in well over ten years. How long have you been using alcohol and/or tobacco?

Death Pot sounds bad but it's not nearly as bad as Dihydrogen Monoxide!
To: Alouette
Next we'll be hearing malt liquor referred to as "death beer".

Death Pot sounds bad but it's not nearly as bad as Dihydrogen Monoxide! Stay away from the nasty stuff, it has a 100% mortality rate among users!

"The drug may cause a rise in violence among users and among its distributors. If the youth will start using Hydro we will see a rise in violence and in criminal activity, because the users will seek ways to finance their consumption, Ahrak said."

>>regular marijuana which is sold for NIS 600 (USD 133) per kilo.<<
Wow, the price of pot has really dropped since I was in high school (circa 1980). Back then it was around $100 per ounce and now they are saying $133 per kilogram (35 ounces)

"If in regular grass the active ingredient is 13 percent, in Hydro it is five or six times more, senior police official Yaron Ahrak said.

If marijuana were legalized bad flavors of the drug would be less likely to exist given there would be little incentive for illegal R&D because the drug would be cheaply available in a legal business of some sort.

The use of marijuana in Israel has been discussed before on FR. The concensus seems to be that its use in Israel is probably less on a per capita basis when compared to marijuana use in the US and Western Europe. It's true, though, that only a generation ago, Israel would be the last place one would think of with respect to national drug problems.

Numbers must be wrong. Hydro seems to be selling for $110,000 a kilo, while regular is selling for $133 for a kilo. That would be $11,000 not $110,000. It was 110 per 10 g's, or $11/gram. That's $11,000 for one kg.

Yeah, I screwed up my decimals. I've been waiting for someone to nail me on it. Took longer than I expected. Good on ya.
