CA: Schwarzenegger may endorse some Democrats (May as well for all the ones he's already appointed) ^

I support Tom McLintock's outspoken conservative politics and I hope one day he becomes the governor of California. I just don't condone his support for Arnie Schwarzy. Sorry. Guess maybe I don't appreciate the finer points of Kalifornia's centrist-liberal politics. Especially when the webs foremost conservative website gives an open and free voice in support of liberals like ArnieS and RudyG.
Interesting turn of phrase. He might've said "conservative policies", but I notice he omitted that term.
"Who found it necessary to write Richard "Dick" Mountjoy?"
I've known him for over 40 years and he has never gone by Richard.
Worth repeating with a warning.
The minute that the gang calculates that the weasel (AKA Angelides) does not have a chance, they (the CAGOP) are going to desert McClintock like a bolder in free-fall. They'll pull the financial rug out from beneath him.
Make your donations directly to McClintock's campaign. Do not give your money to the CAGOP!
Did you vote yet?

Free Republic Opinion Poll:
How would you vote if it's Rudy vs Hillary in '08?
If he is elected along with the governor, McClintock will lend some conservative strength to the executive branch, which has been dominated in the past by Democrats in all the other statewide offices except Secretary of State. Republicans may be encouraged by voters who handily defeated Rob Reiner's "tax the rich" scheme to fund public pre-school education. Hence, two other conservative Republicans nominated Tuesday may have a shot at election too. Tony Strickland is running for Controller against the little-known Democrat John Chiang, and Chuck Poochigian faces, in the Attorney General's race, the well-known (for good and for ill) Jerry Brown, former two-term governor, three-time presidential candidate, and two-term mayor of Oakland. The office Brown is now seeking was the same one his father, Pat Brown, held before he was elected Governor in 1958.
Been voting since Nixon. ;^)
Would never vote for a liberal. I feel the same way about RudyG, that JimRob feels about Johnny Mac. RudyG is outta the question.
I was not going to say anything, but you just couldn't resist to turn the thread into an Arnold bashing thread.
I have news for you: McClintock is NOT running against Arnold he is running WITH Arnold, against the Dems.
And as I pointed out, in November, the ONLY way either one will win, is to get a good fraction of Independents and Democrats.
" have heard from some high level Republican sources that the Governor's campaign is very concerned about that."
ROTFL! Yes, I am sure it's keeping them up at night, that McClintock got a few 5 more of the REPUBLICAN votes.
What will count, is the TOTAL votes in November and remember that 64% of likely voters are NOT Republicans.
66% are NOT Republican - typo.
What is very interesting on this thread is that NOBODY is criticizing Garamendi, nobody is talking about how much better McClintock is, than Garamendi and why should everyone, including moderates vote for McClintock, instead of Garamendi.
McClintock is running against Garamendi, NOT Arnold, yet the whole thread bashes Arnold and not a bad word is spoken about McClintock's DEM opponent.
Just how much do you all want McClintock to win anyway?
I was making comparisons between Arnold and Angelides to make the difference clear to people, but I guess you don't seem to have any problems with Garamendi.
It's surreal.
You do know that JimRob supports Tom and Arnold, don't you?
My tag explains why.

Some get it; some don't.
I get it.
Oh, and so does Tom!
And 57% of likely voters are NOT Democrat.
This just popped too..
CA: Senate rejects governor's nominee for pension board (Dem slanted panel reject Gub's dem nominee) ^

One of his dem friends gets kaboshed ...
He was my choice for Governor when Arnold was elected.
Does anyone know how much power the Lt. Gov of California has? In Texas, the Governor is a weak position. The real power in Texas politics is the Lt. Governor.
Can some CA Freepers fill us in?
this is a good run, a good running team.
