Some get it; some don't. I get it.
Oh, and so does Tom!
And everyone who truly supports Tom.

A larger fraction of ndependent voter break for the Dems, than for Republicans.
It seems you've been ignoring my demographics post, so here it is again for those who are able to do simple math, such as addition.
CALIFORNIA VOTER AND PARTY PROFILES
http://www.ppic.org/content/pubs/JTF_VoterProfilesJTF.pdf
"The Democratic Party currently has an advantage of 1.4 million voters over the Republican Party (7.1 million to 5.7 million) or 9 percentage points (43% to 34%), according to the Secretary of State.
Among those most likely to vote in this years elections, Democrats outnumber Republicans by a 7-point margin (44% to 37%), while 15 percent of likely voters are registered as independents.
... the fact that independents are more likely to lean toward Democrats than Republicans (42% to 28%) tends to work to the disadvantage of the GOP in statewide elections."

Well, he'll be in the catbird seat for governor next time. Go McClintock!!

I truly support Tom; love that man. I proudly voted for him in the recall.
Despite the chatter going on here, I don't dislike Ah-nolt as much as I once did. He has done some courageous things. Of course, I groan at the lib stuff he does.
Anyway, McClintock's staff has always been good to go to for information even though I'm way out of their district. (Nothing but Dems around here and they are dumber than dumb.)
This is a great ticket.

>>>>You do know that JimRob supports Tom and Arnold, don't you? Yeah. So what! While I support the politics of conservative Tom McClintock, I don't condone his support for Arnie Schwarzy. In my book, Arnie Schwarzy is a liberal socialist. I see no difference, just because some liberals call themselves Republicans, while others call themselves Democrats. If you're a lefty, you're a lefty.

I was not going to say anything,
LOL... riiiiiight...
but you just couldn't resist to turn the thread into an Arnold bashing thread.
I posted the raw numbers as evidence to Senator Tom McClintock's statement of him being the "top vote-getter on the Republican ticket." People can take that evidence however they want. I remember it was about three years ago where dissatisfied ArnoldBots threatened to take down McClintock for not dropping out of the gubernatorial recall, but it seems it was only a highly vocal minority of Arnold worshippers making that threat. McClintock has a much stronger base to start with.
Of course you, as a worshipper of Governor Arnold Schwarzenneger, had to get your panties in a bunch over Tom's statement about being the top vote-getter, and you felt compelled to whine all about it, so now we have to respond to your whining.
I have news for you: McClintock is NOT running against Arnold he is running WITH Arnold, against the Dems.
No sh**, Sherlock.
And as I pointed out, in November, the ONLY way either one will win, is to get a good fraction of Independents and Democrats.
And as
I pointed out, McClintock is perfectly capable of doing that (moreso than RINOs such as McPherson in 2002 and Tom Campbell in 2000), even on shoestring budget, and hopefully you'll pony up some big bucks to help out McClintock, if you really care about the "ticket." Meanwhile, the honeymoon is over for Mr. Action Super Hero Schwarzenneger and now he'll have to struggle to win back over the Independents and Democrats he's lost. I just hope Governor Arnold won't be a drag on the ticket.

This is a great ticket. Wholeheartedly agree.

I, too, think we need to spend more time and money defeating Angelides (sp?) and Giramendi (again sp?). I will never vote for a dem and these two must never be in the positions of control!
In fact, I wonder if McClintock needs some free help down here in S.D. in addition to a donation?!

Bashing Arnold? I don't see that in anything I said. All I see is that I would have preferred Tom McClintock had won the recall. Where did I say anything against Arnold?
As for winning in November, sure it takes Ind and Dem to win, but this vote count says nothing on that topic, and neither did I.

I hope he makes it to Governor. But I still wonder if California's conservatives have been effective enough educators to overcome such masses of liberal idiots.
What do you think on that score?
