You forgot she wanted to be an Astronaut but NASA wasn't accepting women at the time.

Don't tell me. The migrants' kids were always Yankee's fans, too.

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-New York) told the audience that as a child attending Sunday school she would baby-sit the children of migrant workers so that their older siblings could join their parents at work.

If you believe this you believe Hillary simply misplaced 100 FBI files on Clinto opposition.

Where DID she grow up, anyway?

Park Ridge, Illinois. Suburbia. It was 99.9% white and 4.9% foreign born in 1960. That translates to 1,585 "immigrants".

Too late...she already sid that she wanted to join the space program but NASA turned her away (or something like that).

I find it highly unlikely that migrants, being devout catholics, did much work on Sundays...

I hope someone is keeping a list of the whoppers. Does this woman not understand how ridiculous she sounds?

I was born in 1947. Used to think it was a very good year until now.

I think I've located the church in question:

http://www.parkridgeumc.org/

Checking the census records for Park Ridge, IL, shows that it was a city of 4.5-5.1 million residents in the decade of 1950-1960, which is approximately the time when the Rodhams lived there.

Rapid urban population growth and the denomination of the church, plus the time period, indicate that in all likelihood, if the story is true - that the children she babysat for were caucasians, and most likely displaced Americans. Not, as she would like to imply, hispanic or children of immigrants.

Back then migrant workers were probably displaced rural Americans moving to cities for factory jobs.

Park Ridge, IL in the 1950s and 1960s had a population over 4.5 million.

Billy Jeff also remembered all the black churches in Arkansas burning...a big fat lie. Why should we believe anything this devious witch says? It ought to be easy to verify if she actually belonged to a church that aided and abetted illegal aliens.

She's talking migrant workers, not immigrants. In 1960 there would have been a large number of post WWII European immigrants in the mix.

"I remember, sitting on the living room carpet, watching news reports of African-American churches being burnt down around me, and wishing we could all just get along! I remember feeding the infant children of West Virginia miners with my own underdeveloped breast, wondering why the Republicans took away their baby bottles, and stepped on their Raggedy Ann dolls. And I remember..."

The press bought that line about me being a baby-sitter for a migrant mom as if that is going to help me become President. Lord, they are just a bunch of suckers. I could feed any line to them and they would buy it. Tommorrow, I could tell them to pronounce me Queen and they would run it. Ha!
