"So much is happening. North Korea is testing missiles, Iranians are going nuclear, the Somalians are becoming militant, Iraq is not succeeding, the Middle East is exploding, and this Administration has not been able to be a force for the progress that is needed.

This woman doesn't seem to realize that North Korea, Iran, Somalia and other countries and governments have a say in what happens around the world. Iran has clearly said they want to eliminate the United States and Israel from the planet. They didn't say "well, the infidels are OK if a Democrat is in charge."

This woman is dangerous. Too many people believe or want to believe her at the risk of damaging our country.  These mouthpiece Democrats had better learn that there is not a Dem Team and a GOP Team when it comes to world affairs and war. There is only an American Team.

Voters turn to the Democrats when they feel safe enough to take a detour from responsibility and reality.

The Democrat Party is not only a the Traitor/Treason Party, it is braindead as well. Total destruction of the Democrat Party by the American voter would be the highest form of justice and good deed for the future of America and it people!!!

All that gas and not a single concrete proposal. They never learn.

>>"Democrats are proposing a New Direction, where we have robust diplomacy, which is dependent on a military second to none,<<

No one in their right mind believes this. The Democrats are the same self-destructive party they were during the Civil War. The only reason they would ever strengthen their military is to fight their own country.

Yeah Nancy, Democratic security policies of retreat and defeat will really help make the US stronger.

A More Secure World? For whom? Al Qaeda?

"Democrats renew our pledge that those recommendations will become law the first day that the House is won by the Democrats.

Someone needs to educate Face Lift Pelosi on Government 101. A bill only becomes law when signed by the President and passed by the Senate, NOT just when passed by the House. She needs to re-listen to "I'm Only a Bill" from the old ABC Saturday morning cartoons. What a flaming idiot.

The day that a majority of the country wants to believe that socialist weasel wankers like Pelosi, Dean, Hillarity, Kerry, Edwards, Algore, Reid, and friends represent a "stronger America" is the day we should all despair of human reason. Let's hope that day never comes. Wankers like Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter can rise to the top only when Republicans screw up big time (Nixon era) and/or the world seems (only seems) safer as in the initial post-Cold War period. Otherwise, no rational person would think that these socialist weasels can protect anyone....

1, 28, 4, 48. Four numbers that portend hope.

Meaning? One Democrat president in the last 28 years. This, due to a broken promise about taxes, lies about a good economy, and a third party freak. Four Democrat presidents in the last 48 years...one got in on fraud that probably would have been caught, had Nixon challenged it in 1960; one, probably a sympathy vote, after JFK was killed a year earlier (1964), one, not long after Vietnam ended (which was started and escalated by the first two Dims on that list), and Bubba.

Also, notice how many of those four Dims led to two term Republican presidencies? Almost all of them. "New direction", my arse.

Yeah, put your knee pads on Nancy. That is the normal Democrat position when it comes to the world community and OUR ENEMIES. On your knees, with a white flag in one hand, and...well....

They've undermined our war efforts from the start. They've played party politics throughout and presented the enemy with a divided country, with an America that seemed ever on the verge of cowering to the enemy, of giving up and going home. And surely this has egged the bad guys on to where they thought that just one more car bombing might do it. That just one more attack might send us scurrying away with our tails between our legs.

And yet now these same Rats expect us to believe that they're for a strong America and that once they regain power they'll then suddenly stand up strong and brave and help protect us? Sorry but the Rats should have been doing that all along instead of putting their own petty interests above the interests of the country.

"Democrats are proposing a New Direction, where we have robust diplomacy..."

"Diplomacy is the art of saying "Nice Doggy", while looking for a rock."

- Will Rogers

Who do you suppose was the last Democrat to actually grasp that aspect of foreign policy? The only one I can think of is Jack Kennedy.

After Democrats like Russ Feingold and Barbara Lee, Cynthia McKinney voted against the Patriot Act in 2001, How can the RATS think that American will feel safer with this appeasement party?
