From your list, Vince Vaughn is a Rand fan. See the article in The New Individualist on Rand's fans in Hollywood:

I don't know if Kurt Russell has read Rand but he's pretty libertarian; I met him at a Cato event.
My hunch is that they won't be able to "modernize" it. They'll have to go for a retro look, perhaps a bit science fictiony.
Some at the producer's panel discussion of Atlas suggested Morgan Freeman for Hugh Akston.
I don't think Jodie Foster is articulate enough nor commanding enough to play Taggert; I picture Keifer Sutherland as too young to play Rearden. I could see Keifer with a part though, maybe playing Ragnar Danneksjold.
No, Angie Harmon for Dagny. No doubt about it!
Possibly; I always felt Freeman was a better actor, especially for this role, but Denzel has improved greatly in recent years, so I'd say he could work.
Another real long shot: Garret Morris, from the original SNL. Very talented guy, and nobody has seen him in years -- perfect for Galt.
One person who has been discussed for Rearden is Liam Neeson.
I also see Anthony Hopkins as the professor that John Galt, Ragnar and Francisco had in college..........The one they liked........
Liam would have to get rid of that accent............
Miracle Four: The movies are a hit and change peoples' attitude towards GOVERNMENT......
Morris is too long in the tooth.,........
No, he told people the one thing they needed most to hear: that they were not responsible for the burdens placed on them by a liberal culture.
The producers said the movie will be set sometime in the future. The thinking is probabaly an America that is falling apart under government regulations (hmmm, I guess that is today!) so the airlines might be in serious decline.
Dagney, I thought, had auburn hair........
Darn! For some reason, James Woods springs to mind as a good person for the role. Besides his weathered, "been through the wars" look, he's definitely on the RIGHT side of things, last I looked.
I don't like the idea of Hollywood luminaries playing the main characters in conformance with their political beliefs on the lberal side. I think it will take a conservative to realistically play the liberal characters to get the message across, but that may take some superior acting!
Concerning the small print, why not buy the hardback, which has larger print:

Or better still, by the MP3 version and listen to it:

And RUSH did a pretty good job of putting it to music on 2112.
