Leave it to Milbank to paint a pipe dream of a caricature of an imaginary "neocon agenda" and then to declare it dead.

Neocon agenda is Washington code for pro Israel/Jew agenda. Just more leftist anti-jew lingo, right off Kos.

Nary a mention of Obama or Kerry and their idiotic performance today. Bolton waxed them both.

Peach, your accounts are the funniest thing I have read in months! I wish I could have seen and heard it firsthand.

John Bolton mopped the floor with them. Sweet payback for him, I'm sure.

Chris Matthews?

No, his partner Dana Milbank.

Milbank certainly is in the business of skewing things in such a way as to provoke a desired result.

Steele said he spoke off the record, at a meet-and-greet. The whole thing was Milbank wishing to produce a desired response. Sadly, he succeeded. Oddly, he succeeded on FR.

DRIP DRIP DRIP......

Wrong, Dana Milquetoast, that dripping sound is the drool leaving your chin and hitting your keyboard.

What a biased pathetic fool.

There is no "off the record" when a Republican darling is trashing a GOP president.

It's OK, Dana Milquetoast knows that his main job is to run interference for the Demagogues, so when they make fools of themselves as they did today, all Dana cares about is creating distractions so that no one will notice.

btw, if Dana had a sex-change operation would anyone be able to tell him/her/it apart from Maureen Dowd? Actually, I begin to suspect that Dana Milbank and Maureen Dowd are one and the same person -- has anyone ever actually seen them together?

Chris Matthews had Ann Coulter on his show tonight, she batted him around like a viking kitty playing with a ball of yarn...lol

I don't know if "Hardboiled" repeats later, but it was worth watching.

What a biased pathetic fool.

Absolutely. Biased, that is. But who is more pathetic or foolish; he who slings the chum, or he who takes the bait?

This is simply the latest iteration of the DNC talking down our current administration and their current 'spin' of how they want to define our current foreign policy.

There have been many different spins on what we were attempting to achieve by taking down Saddam, and each spin by the DNC/MSM has been put out in the media in a way that does not reflect the stated goals of the administration. It seems they are still searching for a negative sound bite that hits hard and is effective with the majority of voters, but they can't quite get the reaction that they want.

"What a mess we now have in Washington. thanks, Dems, for putting your politics above our country."

Yeah it's disgusting.

Steele's been all over talk radio today, admitting that he made a major mistake.

Looks like someone finally listened to the Dog.....

Either that, or someone on his staff is a FReeper.

There was no "trashing" of the president. And Milbank has neither class nor integrity. His word is shite, and yet you continue to discount his lack of honor.

I love how we absolutely never agree.

There was no "trashing" of the president.

No? Then who the hell was Steele talking about when he brought up Katrina (an obvious pander to blacks) and the Iraq War?

You think this guy can do no wrong, but he lost a lot of respect in the GOP today.

That's no big deal, though, since he said being a Republican ain't so hot anyway.

He said he "unequivocally" thought the United States should pay its full U.N. dues. He said there should "absolutely" be a "viable, contiguous Palestinian state." And, after aides distributed his prepared testimony to reporters, they returned with a revised copy that excised a sentence defending the Israeli military action in Lebanon.

Not that I believe what Dana Milbank writes, but if this is even somewhat accurate, then maybe I've had the wrong idea about Bolton all along. If this is true, then screw him - - I don't care what happens to him.

Neoconservatives dreamed that the flexing of American muscle in Iraq would cause the world to fall in line behind U.S. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

We flexed and they did fall in line, and we are still flexing and they are still falling in line. Next: Iran and N.Korea.

Count on it.

I do not accept these cries of defeatism for the neoconservative movement for one second.

"Lifeblood dripping out of the neocon movement." This will not be caused by one person. If anything, this hearing is just revealing the Truth about the situation. Clarification is always good.
