That's why Steele admitted to "poor judgement". He's young. He just learned a valuable lesson about dealing with the scumbag liberal newsrooms - - you don't. He'll be alright.
Same here. Dodd sent me to the liqueur cabinet.
Uh, Dana? You might like to stick to subjects you understand.
Last I checked "neocons" as you called them loved Bolton. Worse, for you, is that Americans love him. Because he's the exact opposite of you and Kerry. Try listening to what he says sometime. You might learn something.
Answer: The color red.
Huh? About UN dues? Uhmmm... he's the UN Ambassador and of *course* he's going to say that the U.S. should pay its dues. It's his job. But moreover, Bolton has been magnificent at the UN all this time. He's just the bull in the china shop that's been way, way, overdue. We need him there, now more than ever.
For him, it's about choosing the right battles.
Isn't it interesting how Milbank immediately has that thought? Whatta goober! I'd think it more aptly describes the Democrats on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee!
I couldn't help but notice Dana only quoted one word here, one word there, and then wow- a whole three word phrase. Why doesn't Dana just quote an entire sentence or two and let us figure out what he meant?
He should not be in the "business" of misquoting people. However, he is an unmitigated LIAR just like the other 99% of the Treason Media. These lIARS write no stories without first asking "how can we slant, misrepresent or flat out LIE about what has happened so as to hurt the GOP?" Any story which cannot be turned to the disadvantage of the Administration will NOT be written. The examples of this are legion.
Chinese Water Torture
Come on surely you are not surprised at that? God Love Us but there are a lot of gullible people here.
Bolton has been terrific over at that foul toilet, the United Nations, and I think he's just playing games with these Democrat Senators, and laughing inside because he knows he doesn't NEED their stinking confirmation - - he's already THERE. He will simply be recess-appointed again by Bush if all else fails. So really, who cares?
That's a rhetorical question, right? ;-)
No? Then who the hell was Steele talking about when he brought up Katrina (an obvious pander to blacks) and the Iraq War?
Already discussed here (remember?): If you've followed Steele's campaign then you will know that it's the rare bingo hall or potluck BBQ that he misses. He is actually talking to his constituents as individuals. He is saying what "Americans", obviously the ones he has spoken to, feel. Never once does he say "I". "In Katrina, the president is at 30,000 feet in an airplane looking down at people dying, living on a bridge. And that disconnect, I think, sums up, for me at least, the frustration that Americans feel."
Also, the Iraq quote wasn't even a complete sentence. Are you really going to trust that Milbank gave you the unfettered, unbiased gist of what Steele said?
(Another drive-by tactic is used in your quote, BTW -- "he said, between bites of hanger steak and risotto" -- the disconnect, baby. The disconnect.)
That's no big deal, though, since he said being a Republican ain't so hot anyway.
Talk about reaching. He said it was an i-m-p-e-d-i-m-e-n-t. Which anyone with two functioning brain cells knows, that, yes, in Maryland, it is.
You're a lost cause. But I knew that over half a decade ago...I'm done with you. On this topic at least.
Hmmm... when you put it that way...
*thinking*
Disappointed. Yes, I'm disappointed. But, no, you're right. I'm not surprised.
We all love FR so much that we sometimes suspend our better judgment when something is reported here. Just because FR is 1000% more reliable than the Treason Media doesn't mean its perfect.
I believed the "100s of Bodies in Trees" and "mass rapes at the Superdome" stories for a while.
He's engaged in racial pandering. I'm glad you provided the quote that proves it.
Drop it already. You lost. Anyone can play your sad, little game:Bush panders before the NAACP (Larry Elder) ^

President Bush addressed the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People -- after five years of invitations -- and blew it. He pandered, he condescended, all to show blacks that, yes, the president feels your pain...
How gross. But highly appropriate. LOL!
