BTW, do I need to tell you he is a municipal employee. Can you tell HIS politics? I can tell you he wouldn't feel too comfortable on this site!

Dale Brown (exUSAF type,
Flight of Old Dog) just published a new book
Edge of Battle that has this as a major plot point. It does raise some interesting questions. And the book suggests some answers that might not go over too well.
Worth the time to read as is Trial by Fire by Harold Coyle (of Team Yankee fame)- somewhat dated but still a solid view of the logistics involved.

The Illegals are not reconquering anything. We're giving this country away to them, and they are taking advantage of it..

You're not the only one. It's about as anti-American (translate that to U.S.) as it gets, IMO.

That's my take as well. I also think a lot of folks just want to feel safe, secure and comfortable. If they acknowledged what was going on it would destroy their comfort zone.

The Republican state representative has always won handily in the past, but this time she stated the influx of these illegals is going to cost her the election. Must be all those illegal Russians making this problem Gary.

There are articles on Free Republic regarding the plan to join the US, Mexico and Canada. One of the articles was written by Phyllis Schafly..
It's not just on FR or Schafly, its also on a government web site. SSP-SPS or something like that. I'm sure someone with a better memory than mine will tell you. This is being touted by our own government . Can you imagine anything more insane than combining the political and economic systems of those three countries? Don't think it will happen? Okay, that's what they said in Europe, wasn't it? "It was just going to be an agreement on coal and steel, right?

An historical, yet vague aside. 14 years ago, I was doing some consulting at a prison in central Kansas. The town had a cafe where we ate regularly and they had tacos on the menu. What I call American tacos, no spice. Being from California I had to open my mouth about the quality of Mexican food there.
One of the Lts. we were dining with referred us to a very small town 25 miles away, which had two Mexican restaurants. We decided to check it out and had great meals at both the remaining time we were there.
In the early 1900s, they opened a copper mine in the area and Mexicans were brought to work the mine. 100 years later, the mine was closed, but there were some remaining families who ran these restaurants.
Don't have much tolerance for people who jump the line, but I love Mexican women and food, amngst others.

Well, what do you want me to say? I'm a sailor!

This is the only logical explanation as to why W is pushing amnesty for illegal aliens, whereas those waiting in line to immigrate here legally are currently taking 10 to 30 years. Nobody is more angry than me over what W is doing to this country. I send emails to the White House that will burn the paint off the walls. I look at WJC and W and all I see are two men who have betrayed America.
