Perhaps this is one of the reasons for "GUN CONTROL", whereby the people can't revolt.

I agree with your thought about "GUN CONTROL". It's not by chance or coincidence that the Congress is forever bringing up one proposed gun law or another on a regular basis. Gov. being what it is, I've learned that once they make up their mind to something, they NEVER give up and eventually get some rotten piece of legislation (usually to the detriment of the American citizen)passed, sneaking it in by a voice vote, or in the dead of night vote, whatever it takes, they get their way.

I'd be willing to bet that whatever "shell game" Congress plays when dealing with illegal immigration, it will be just that. The public will get lulled into thinking the gov. is going to come down hard on getting the borders under control etc, and etc. and when it's all said and done, the President and big business will get exactly what they want and no real change will take effect to keep the illegals from coming in and taking over whole small towns, like they have here in rural Iowa. If gov. was serious about the problem, they could start by fining the living heck out of employers, closing our social services to all illegals, no more free medical, free schooling, catering to them by giving in to their every whim and demand, as in printing everything in Spanish etc., doing away with that stupid illegal decision on notch babies.....there's all kinds of ways, and I don't buy for a minute the argument that we just can't do anything about hunting them down or about closing the borders. Nonsense. I'm sick and tired of what this gov. is doing intentionally to drag down our country, our culture and our way of life.

Right On, I owned a business in connecticut and had about 50 employees.
About 1984 an edict came out which stated that if we had in our hire any non citizen we would be fined $ 10,000 for the first offense.
Most of our employees had been in the Union 20 or more years, but we still had to check 'em out.

Bush and Co. refuses to do anything worthwhile and I am/was a Bush supporter.
Bush is a One Worlder and NO Borders kind of Guy, to our sorrow.
