"NOT ONE PERSON has ever died due to mariajuana poisoning."

Ah, now I get it. You think marijuana is prohibited because we think it's poisonous and kills people.

"What, you mean like the proposed $30,000 "pot license?"

Yep. That's why I laugh when I hear potheads whining about legalizing pot. If they would only stop smoking pot long enough to think it through, they would realize it's a bad idea. Taxes and regulations is all they will get, not only driving the prices up further, but controlling quality as well. It will still be illegal to bootleg pot, grow it illegally, transport it over state lines without a licence, sell to minors, and probably smoke it in a house where minors are present. Same as booze and tobacco laws.

"Then the stats for "other drug use" should come to more than half of the figures for pot use. If they don't someone is lying."

Not if they go on to other drugs then die. Or quit.

Hel's belles, how about requiring a license to have a baby?

That's been done in China.

More stereotypes, ad-hominems...the writer could have saved himself the trouble and just written "Pot sucks."

It's perfectly legal to "bootleg" beer and wine---homebrewers and those who make wine at home do it all the time. It's also perfectly legal to grow and cure your own tobacco.

Most of the pot heads left are fat, lazy and don't havwe much to show for their lifes work, the rest are dead or in prison.

I'll tell that to the ones I know who are successful professionals who own their homes.

I give you stats, you spout back BS. There are NO - ZERO - nada - zilch - deaths from mariajuana poisoning - EVER.

Also, if you bothered to read, 4,000 deaths is NOT "Alcohol related". It is from OD'ing on alcohol - drinking too much and dying. Not car accidents, not falling down the steps - not cirrhosis - just drinking too much

Alcohol IS a poison. THC is not.

BTW - I don't smoke pot (although I have in the past), nor drink (although I have in the past - only slightly - never really liked the taste), nor take any drugs (although I have in the past) except caffein and Ibuprofen.

I am just NOT a hypocrite. AND, I believe in Freedom and the Bill of Rights.

It doesn't MATTER what "my opinion" is. I am basing all of my views on facts and the constitution.

You base yours on prejudice, misinformation, ignorance and self-righteousness.

I'll stick with my way of doing things, thank you.

"It grows naturally in America, has medicinal benefits, was banned with lies, and has fueled a failed drug war that has accomplished little besides the dismantling of the Bill of Rights."

B.S. You read too many pro pot web pages. It has ZERO medicinal benefit, other than perhaps increasing apetite. The other dangerous fumes inhaled along with the THC far negate any benefit. Banned with lies? what lies? it's a drug, it makes people goofy and loose control of their senses, thus making them intoxicated in public and while driving a vehicle. it has not dismantled the bill of rights in any way shape or form. The war on drugs is not a "failure". Tons of illegal drugs and assets/cash are siezed every year which otherwize would have went towards killing our youth. Does it stop all drug trafficing? no, but it makes it all the more expensive, which is probably the part you don't like, and I don't care about.

"The point is government has no right to prohibit this substance in the first place. It grows naturally in America, has medicinal benefits, was banned with lies, and has fueled a failed drug war that has accomplished little besides the dismantling of the Bill of Rights."

Are you talking about heroin and cocaine?

It's illegal to drink and/or smoke in your own home? Huh.

No, I KNOW it is illegal due to racism and corrupt government. It STAYS illegal because of balless corrupt politicians. They are cheered on by fascist hypocrit drug warriors that hate freedom (except for the freedoms THEY personally approve of).

Yes. It's as tedious as labeling every political scandal ________Gate.

The problem with your comparison is that no one can document 800 deaths from pot poisoning / overdose EVER, much less per year. No one can document 8 such deaths EVER. That's in comparison to 4000 per year for alcohol.

Growing/making your own is not bootlegging. Try selling it.

Plus there are limits to haw much you can grow and possess, both of tobacco and beer/wine (spirits are taboo) I know, I make the best beer in the world :o). Tobacco just doesn't grow too well here, besides, I quit smoking a couple years ago.
