Corn is no better than Jason Leopold. He just makes things up.
Don't forget the appearance in the convertible in Vanity Fair. Oh, that's right ... she was "undercover" of a headscarf and sunglasses ...What transparent creeps these two POSes are.

Hmmm ... I thought Valerie was a table dancer for top secret CIA parties.
The special prosecutor has a lot of explaining to do. Going into the investigation he knew full well that Armitage was the source. He continued on, with a political bent to try to ensnare members of the admininistration, with the "what did you know and when did you know it".
I am not trying to boost Valerie Plame or her political agenda in any way.
But, just reading the bare facts of what Corn describes about her work, from 1997 in particular when she joins the counter terrorism division to just after 9/11, when she is put on the Joint Task Force On Iraq,
apparently the CIA had not, until then (2001) conducted any sustained and focused effort to verify the public claims that the CIA had been giving to two administrations about Saddams WMD programs, for almost a decade.
Unless, that is, that the work of Valeris Plame's group is not the whole story.
Good on'a 'laptop'.
That is wonderful imagery and very descriptive.
"When the war started in March 2003, JTFI officers were disappointed. "I felt like we ran out of time," one CIA officer recalled. "The war came so suddenly. We didn't have enough information to challenge the assumption that there were WMDs.... How do you know it's a dry well? That Saddam was constrained. Given more time, we could have worked through the issue.... From 9/11 to the war--eighteen months--that was not enough time to get a good answer to this important question."
What a fairy tale..The US spent $Billions containing Saddam over the issue and maintained sanctions which starved hundreds of thousands of Iraqis. 12 years wasn't enough time?
You didn't read between the lines. Corn is saying she set up a clandestine cabal within the CIA in the basement, where they were frantically trying to put together evidence that Saddam had no weapons and was no threat.
I guess her sending her husband was part of that operation.
Rumor has it, she blew it on the first date. Her undercover status that is.
"David Corn trying to cover his butt."
Exactly. That's the only point of this article (well, and to sell books too).
Which White House? Where did any administration get that idea?
Gee David, maybe Wilson should not have exposed his "secret" mission that he and his "secret" wife were working on in the NEW YORK TIMES THAT IS READ WORLDWIDE?
FGS, do these people think we are idiots?
That's right, Val! Sleeping with the man who can further your career. Ah, but then you married him.
There are so many levels of deciet within the CIA, the truth will never be told.
For YEARS, the Clinton and Bush Administrations labored under the belief that the Iraqis possesed large quantities of WMD.
Who gave them that impression? Why, our own CIA.
When it looked like President Bush was talking about taking down the entire Iraqi regime, the CIA suddenly goes into overdrive, trying to "verify" what the President has publicly declared?
Sounds to me like a faction within the CIA was opposed to the President's plans from the beginning, and when he decided to call Iraq's bluff, they decided to mount their own mis-information operation.
More imaginary sources from the creative writing of Corn.
