I don't know if anyone has posted this thought on the other Gitmo threads, but it occured to me that the President's speech and push for military tribunal authorization from Congress, plus the 9/11 families at the speach, and now the release of this video that includes most of the players that the President mentioned yesterday, could be paving the way for the really big announcement we've all been waiting for?

Once he has Congressional approval, and the with the Supreme Court already laying out what they view as acceptable, he would be able to transfer Bin Laden to Gitmo and try him without any challenges. /wishfull thinking.

I don't believe he is dead. We have a person who can be identified and captured. How do you win a war when you can't identify your enemy. I think the "faceless" enemy can hide under radar perpetually. How do you fight a war when no one wears a uniform. Every time we try to clean house the enemy switches hats and claim civilian status.

Who says we haven't found him.....Finding him and capturing him are two different things. It might be to our advantage to let him stay in his cave and record his conversations, visitors, movements. Making a martyr out of him would only fan the flames.
