I think for Clinton his idea of the perpetual campaign is what is keeping him going. Once he won the Presidency he conducted it like the campaign for it was ongoing and even when he left office it never stops. I think it has its roots in the Communist idea of the perpetual revolution to keep the masses agitated all the time even after the revolution overthrow phase had finished.

The Fool and his Common Sense were soon parted.
Separation from his presidency took a little longer.

What senile, grinning old fool. I am so sick and tired of hearing his lunatic ravings.

The man still knows how to shovel fertilizer.
IMO Dems are worried their whole party is going to get bumped by independents/third party voters.

Carter has always had a resentment of Israel. Lieberman was a pro-Israel Democrat.

i think it has origin more in his ego and personality. The guy thrives on it. i imagine he is happy now to chase chics and do the periodic interview.

De rabid rabbit had in mind to bite his pecka and inflict him with some disease like Clinton ought to have by now, but having been concerned about ever being up sh**'* creek without a paddle, Jimmi always has a paddle, whacked de rabbit and got away, and returned to play another day. Or did the rabbit win and turn Jimmi into a pitiful and pathetic little moron whose alligator mouth continuously burdens his hummingbird *ss more and more as the rabbit's curse develops in intensity.

From his own party

Daniel Patrick Moynihan's devastating appraisal of Carter, "unable to distinguish between our friends and our enemies, [and who] has adopted our enemies' view of the world"

Ronald Reagan was 93 years and 119 days old when he died. Gerald Ford will reach that mark on November 10, 2006. If he survives past that date he will be setting a new record for longevity for Presidents every day.

One can only hope that Carter will do for his party what he did for our Country.

Great tagline and you don't have one.
