Levin supplies info at times, in depth looks at legal aspects, but I have never listened to him on purpose. Savage provides the red meat, if he is not in I listen to Hugh Hewitt or country music.

In listening to him for 15 minutes, here's what I heard earlier this week (Tue evening)
I took a break from Levin and listened to Savage for about 15 minutes (just prior to Paul Williams joining)... For those who didn't catch the show, you missed the following awesome tidbits )
* Savage said that going to Iraq was probably the biggest military blunder of all time, and laid the blame on Bush, if as he assumes, Iran and Iraq will form an alliance (also went into how he predicted that in his book years ago). )
* Said they should bring back Hussein into power, cause he knew how to deal with the Shiites)
* Said Bush's running up the deficit has destroyed our future- for our kids and grandkids, that we have given our fiscal keys to the Chinese (20B deficit) and Mexicans (5B deficit))
* Called Bush a fiscal socialist)
* Said there's absolutely no difference between Halfbright and Condoleeza Rice-a-Roni (as he sophmorically called her) )
* Said on economics, and WOT, there's basically no difference between the Dems and GOP)
* Said no one has the cajunes to protect us, not Bush, not any of the leaders)
* Mixed in throughout was tons of gloom and doom, about how we have no place to go, we're all doomed, yada yada yada... )
VERY inspirational... Did I miss anything??? And that's all in a 15 minute span!!! )
Funny how NO ONE posts any of this stuff... He's entertaining, sure, but I surely don't take his stuff seriously, except when he's doing the libs' job and constantly bashing our President from all angles, harder than any of the libs. He's the equivalent of Howard Stern, IMO- shock value, entertaining, but that's it.
He's FAR better than Savage any day of the week, brighter, almost as entertaining, not nearly as negative (Weiner is negative nearly all of the time, so depressing), and he kicks Weiner's butt in the ratings EVERY SINGLE QUARTER. There's no comparison.
Levin's also a fellow FReeper... When did Weiner EVER mention FR???
He's become a caricature. He's managed to fuse together a philosphy that's equal parts Pat Buchanan, Cindy Sheehan, Russ Fiengold and Babra Striesand. Amazing.

I've listened to Rosie O'Donnell less, and I don't like her. Levin comes on after Savage on the station I listen to, and I sometimes forget to change the station to another show. When he does come on, I catch myself saying "who is this sophomoric jerk", before changing the station. I've heard him, he sucks.
What's amazing is that there are so many otherwise astute FReepers that really, really like this nutcase.

That because Bush is not following Gen. Savage's battle plan, that he's decided to pitch his tent with the loonies.
