[Can you imagine the Pope, the Ecumenical Patriarch, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the President of the SBC, etc. calling upon his coreligionists to have a "Day Of Rage"?]

This post got me to thinking. Hypothetically speaking, of course....What if the Pope called for Christian Crusades across the Middle East? What if the Pope spoke infallibly announcing that God called on all Christians to kill all Muslims? How would Christians react?

How much outrage would there be? How many Christians would rally to begin killing Muslims?

In this context, I would guess that some religions ARE better than others, simply by the reaction of the followers.

I can't recall ever reading a stupider comment. Christians will die for Christ, but Christ does not call on us to kill "unbelievers" for Him. That's contrary to every precept of Christianity. Everything Muslims say and do proves the truth of the Pope's remarks.

And what about the brittleness of Muslims over criticism of the Prophet Mohammed? Many in the West have a hard time getting their head around the idea that any leader is above ridicule.

I don't HAVE to get my head around the idea that any leader is above ridicule, because I simply RIDICULE them. Piss be on Mohammhead! There. It is done. I do not like Islam and I think it is from the devil, and Mohammead is no prophet of good but the servant of Satan. This is what I truly believe.

Occasionally you come across a word that just will not translate from one language to another. For example, the Japanese have no equivalent word or phrase for "false alarm" because nobody in Japan pulls fire alarms for fun.
