Well, consider the source, Cousteau is just another stupid froggie who's mouth runs faster than his brain.

Well, Jean-Michelle, your nephew Phillipe was WITH Steve when he died and will complete the documentary they were doing together. Phillippe was shortchanged by his own dad's premature death, and although shut out by your side of the family is doing a far better job of living up to your father's tradition of conservation - so you can just STUFF IT you jealous ******E!

His nephew, not son. Phillippe's father was killed in an airplane accident back in 1979.

Speaking of "not touching nature", here's a message from good ol' dad ...

In the UNESCO Courier of November 1991, Jacques Cousteau wrote, "The damage people cause to the planet is a function of demographics-it is equal to the degree of development. One American burdens the earth much more than twenty Bangladeshes... This is a terrible thing to say. In order to stabilize world population, we must eliminate 350,000 people per day. It is a horrible thing to say, but it's just as bad not to say it."

This is a snippet from an article written by Dr. Stanley Monteith of www.radioliberty.com and entitle "The Population Control Agenda". The rest of the article is here.

"Just posted an article about Phillipe Cousteau honoring Irwin. Phillipe was the son of Phillipe Cousteau who was killed in a plane crash."

Obviously he deserved to die because man wasn't meant to fly.

The man makes a very good point. But, I do touch wild animals, after I have shot them.
I think he is just saying that Irwin was over the top and it cost him his life.

Ah yes. The inherent logic flaws within the leftist philosophy are unfortunately once again displayed in public. And this display coincided with the funeral services for one of the greatest Naturalists to have ever lived.

You see, leftist have fully embraced the teachings of evolution. That is fine. Evolution is a theory with lots of evidenturary support. It states that man is very similar to the animals which have evolved on this planet, because man has also evolved on this planet with the animals. In fact, man is but one of the animals. So one would expect that this primary philosophy, 'man is an animal', would be apparent in everything the left does. Unfortunately, it appears that while leftist claim the evolutionary philosophy, in reality they do not actually believe it themselves. How is that apparent ? Well. Let us take for example the Circus of the Sun entertainment megamedia phenomenon. According to 'Wikipedia the Online Encyclopedia', the Circus of the Sun (Cirque du Soleil in frenchy) is all about the following - 'Emphasizing the use of humans as performers, Cirque du Soleil does not make use of animals.' Okay. So the great Cirque du Soleil, which was originally commissioned in Montreal to celebrate the arrival in Canada of a great French explorer, is all based on having 'humans' perform instead of 'animals'. See the logic problem here lefties ? Humans are animals according to evolution. According to the lefty world view, there should be no difference in a 'animal' circus and a 'human' circus. Yet, apparently, there is. Perhaps it would be more appropriate to call it by its true name - 'Circus of Apes'.

That quote about a US citizen causing more pollution is pure BS. Most of the third world dumps their RAW sewage straight into the worlds Oceans. We need to advance the Third World into the sewage treatment age.

Equally as appalling is the worlds saltwater aquarium fish trade industry. Although some fish are being aqua-cultured the more exotic fish are caught en-masse in third world countries using sodium cyanide sprayed over reefs stunning fish and killing even more, AND killing the underlying reef off in the process.

It's not World War Three until the French have surrendered.

Funniest thing I've read in weeks. I may have to steal that now.

[I think he is just saying that Irwin was over the top and it cost him his life.]

That's exactly what he is saying and he is 100% wrong. Steve Irwin died while engaging in the same type of low risk pleasure snorkeling that couples engage in on their honeymoon. Those who pretend out loud that he died from taking a risk are only displaying an obvious jealousy.

It would be just as inappropriate to disparage Jean-Michel's death from a heart attack (were he to die that way) and gloat "Oh, well. That's what you get for not taking any risks in life. You keel over sitting at home straining on your toilet." NO CLASS.

There are numerous pressures on the worlds Oceans, but the greatest by far is the digestive system of the worlds billions of apes. Excessive harvesting in some places and then lots of excessive sewage and refuse dumping back into the Oceans. Warming has also been a problem in some regions. Can you just imagine what has happened to the Ocean right around Java and Sumatra. I don't think the environment is much of a concern within the Sharia Law books. The irony of the whole thing is that we need to develop the Third World and make it more like us. That will slow their birth rates just as it has slowed ours.

I was there a couple of summers ago; the place to go isn't Sting Ray City any more because one of the storms made another site near there more attractive to the rays; besides SRC gets too crowded.

That's what I was wondering. I didn't want to actually read all of his words to see which Cousteau it was - I knew one of them was actually on the boat when Steve died.

How low.
