BTW, my son drew a paper today that said Crikeydile Tears.

That is too cute. How old is he?

I think Bindi is smart and mature enough to know her father has really died and isn't ever coming back.

"the Wife WILL come out as a super tree hugging WACO leftest"

That's a pretty snide comment to make about Terri Irwin.

I'm not impressed by your "observations".

He's 12, so it probably doesn't sound as cute. He has wanted to work with animals since he used to watch the Kratt Brothers. Steve Irwin really got him interested, though.

No that's still cute--very clever play on words. I like it.

Honestly, our family has had some weird animl experiences for people living in a large city. My son once helped a dove out of our old Arizona Room.

Another time he was supposed to be at a Scout meeting when our truck broke down so we couldn't go. His sister found a naked little sparrow on our back porch with no nest nearby. Although my husband said it would probably die my son still put it in a box of cotton and had me call a bird rescue. We were told it would make it, if it lived overnight. Before it was taken to the rescue home the next morning the little bird was standing in his hand.

We had some off black and white stork looking thing land in our backyard for a rest once.

A couple years ago my son was claiming animal empathy. "I know what the animals are thinking." I don't know if that's so, but he has rescued a few. Including the ugly four week old kitten who our neighbor had gotten from someone else. I still don't know how she found her way in our back door, since her eyes were so crusted over. She was mangy and looked like she was going to die. It has been a year and nine months. She is a gorgeous siamese mix, acts like the queen of the house, and sleeps on meows at my son every night when she is ready to sleep on his bed. She even climbs the ladder to his bunk on her own.

Neat stories. It sounds like he and animals have an affinity for each other. That's great he has such a strong desire to do something at such a young age.
