Maybe they could get a new one every week, culminating in the old croc hunter getting devoured by crocodiles.

Well said. Bindi will be a star conservationist in her own right, though. Apparently she has Mom's looks and Dad's personality. Give her time - no rush there. I can see her and Terri having a show....

He IS funny! Corwin has a wry wit, and he doesn't mind laughing at himself. But he is just as passionate about wildlife as Irwin was. I like him!

"Marlin had a good gig, hanging in the studio with the chimp, smokin' blunts while Jim wrestled the boa in fetid swamp water."
I used to watch Marlin Perkins on "Zoo Parade" in the 50's. He was at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago at the time.
From Wikipedia: "During his career, Perkins suffered multiple bites from venomous snakes. During a rehearsal of Zoo Parade, he was bitten by a timber rattlesnake. In other incidents, he was also bitten by a cottonmouth and a Gaboon viper."

I know Marlin was the real deal, I just remember him from the Mutual of Omaha Wild Kingdom days late in his career. :)

I think it will be marketing stupidity beyond meausure to use "crock hunter"
It will deminish the original and make it some PC marketing ploy.
