Thanks for the ping.
Stupid and tactless are similar beasts with different reactions. To stupidity you look and wonder why or how. With tactlessness you look and wonder why the tactless isn't vacating the vacinity and how you are going to catch him to enact your tuition.
Prayers for her raising those kids. If they have anything of their father in them...she is going to need help.
Even if it's out there, I wouldn't want to see it. As Terri says; "what purpose would it serve?"
Oh. I didn't bother to open them up and look. I just read the front cover.
Unlike others, and I understand why they feel as they do because I never want to see it, I think the footage should be used someday for educational purposes in the wildlife arena. Steve Irwin wasn't one to shrink from showing his mistakes to the camera, and, when it can no longer hurt his family, I think he would want a very serious lesson to be culled from what happened--a long time from now and not for general viewing, of course.
May he rest in peace, and may she get comfort from the memories of their life together, and their children.
Should that footage ever be shown, I would love to see the person responsible fed ever so slowly to Steve's beloved croc, "Bindi," his daughter's namesake.

I Pray that's All they have; I hadn't Seen Pictures, I had just Read that they Exist. I Hope the Tabloids and the Media Leave Terri and the Children Alone, and Let them have Some Peace.
Your talking about the most tactless, heartless, and moneygrubbing individuals in entertainment. They make Michael Moore look polite. If I were you I would just turn my head as I walked up to the cash register.
I hadn't heard that he'd said that, but as was opined in #68, he wasn't one to let a chance to educate pass by, including learning from either his error or showing a wild animal's dangerous side. The film should be shown when the time and audience is right, which is a long time from now.
God bless her but I still think giving an interview to that ratings whore Barbara Walters so soon after Steves death is in extremely bad taste. The guy is barely in the ground and the first order of biz is Barbaras career?
Oh, nat-o, I'm so sorry to hear that. My condolences to you. Any of the other dozen still around and spry? I hope so.
For the moment, yes - most are still alive, but they are all in at least their 70s now - and the two that have so far passed made it to their nineties.
I'm married to the daughter of one of them, and he's still very much a part of my life.
I'm glad she's doing it - just not happy that it's Baba Wawa. Old BW herself (celebrating her 75th birthday yesterday or day before) said she didn't know why she got the "get" except maybe Terri had heard her name before.
Terri has a legacy to carry on, a family to think of, a zoo and TV empire to run and a worldwide audience who wants to know she's OK. A few minutes out of the spotlight sometimes makes people fickle and forgetful of those who entertain them.
Bindi's probably bounding around *boing* *boing* and saying "let's do it for Daddy, Mum" and "let's get on with it."
*smiling here* Good. Sorry for your current loss, however. Glad to know he lived a long life and gave so much of himself to you.
I believe - can't be sure though - that Walters did not interview Bindi in the end - it was decided she had done enough - and so the interview is just with Terri.
Strong woman. God Bless.
Oh, really? That's why no pix of Bindi and no clips. Well, I'm sorry for that. I was really looking as much forward to seeing her as to seeing Terri. I could smile at Bindi, but will be crying with Terri - and I much prefer smiling when possible.
Thanks for the info. It does make sense, even though I don't like it, lol!
