Actually if you lived in the greater Vancouver area you would be aware of the serious criminal activities of several "sikh" youth gangs politcally translated as "indocanadian".
If you lived around certain neighbourhoods you most definetely would want to stay clear of dark vehicles filled with youths of indocanadian persuasion.

Well said. I graduated from public high school in 1990. Even in the 80s, school violence was rare.

You know clinton invented school shootings and oral sex. Before him every school was safe and no one knew what a bj was. I remember quite clearly the day oral sex was invented, it's a day I'll never forget.

He probably will but he shouldn't. If he could even have used the shot gun, the kid was being blocked by the principal, so he probably couldn't have safely fired anyway. I could be wrong and Mr Thompson may be young and buff but I think of a janitor as older and it usually being a hard working, minimal wage job of going around mopping and cleaning up kid messes. Some schools pay police officers to do what he did today. If he hadn't been alert and took action, and the principal hadn't been brave enough to give up his life to tackle this killer, no telling what else could have happened. They are both heroes .

Start with the firearms safety classes for the kids in 4th grade...

Fourth grade?
Hell... our youngest was on the range with us before she was 5 years old. The firearm saftey & instructions we provided at home however began at *least* 2 years prior.

As a lesson to the rest of us, if someone is threatening with a gun, knife, etc., whether in a school, on a plane or somewhere else, he MUST be incapacitated, NOT just disarmed and left free. That means grabbing him, hitting him, sitting on him, calling for others to help, whatever it takes. That also means keeping him incapacitated, and letting someone ELSE call 911. You CAN NOT STOP until he can't possibly be an ongoing threat.

This kid was a "special ed" student. I would venture to say he was on some prescribed psychotropic drugs for the "good" of society. Anyone know?
