Anyone heard anything about pols from on the Hill and from both parties negotiating a new ethics detente? In other words both parties promising the other that "we won't out your crooks and perverts if you don't out ours."
Which would be really great for the sleazeballs on the Hill, but rotten for the rest of us.

My local paper's (a Gannett publication) article on the new high for the stock market denigrated the gains by talking up the deficit.
