And what vineyard is that, so I can be sure to steer clear of it?
Why have one at all?
Good source of ownership and other info:
EXACTLY!
Great, they own the vineyards and sell to various (unnamed) vintners! Oh, well, the Livermore Valley is starting to produce some good stuff now.
Oh my gosh...she has to work "like" almost 40 hours a week!
Your SF scenario is being played out in every (once) major city in the U.S. where Dems are in control. St. Louis, Detroit, Atlanta, etc., all rapidly emptying out their tax bases, bleeding them dry to pay for advancing socialist agendas. Businesses and residents flee for the safety and cleanliness of the 'burbs, leaving behind an urban core of plummeting property values and neighborhoods that are statistically more dangerous than Iraq.
You're right. They don't! They live on welfare and other government programs.
I don't really support minimum wage programs, but minimimum wage, if there is such a thing - imo - should be calculated in such a way that two parents working full time can eek out a living for themselves and one or two kids. Libs think that one parent should be able to do that.
Nancy Pelosi, and her husband Paul, won approval in '05 for a 5,000-gallon-a-year winery off Zinfandel Lane south of St. Helena.

I had to read on to discover that the BS was coming from Roasanne Barr. Yeah that's a real person with a real agenda.
She can get the ef out of my wallet.

hmmm ..salon.com Public Common Stock figures
Definitely "The City" referenced is San Fran.
82,000 uninsured residents of a "sanctuary city".
A few points:
1. Menial jobs as you've mentioned will eventually go the way of assembly line workers. If they are so easy to do, they will be replaced by a machine. Thus creating a new line of work - maintaining menial job machines - which will eventually be automated.
2. 100% of college students need money while attending college. If its up to them to earn it, guess what, they'll perform the menial jobs you've mentioned.
3. If 100% of the population goes to college, there will be an unlimited supply of people that need low-paying jobs to get them through college.
4. Some people get fluff college degrees. It is hard to find professional wage-paying jobs with a fluff degree so yes, 4yr grads will be competing with high school students for those same low-paying jobs.
5. Currently, I already sack my own groceries, run my own cash register (self-checkout), pump my own gas, haven't been inside a bank in years, pay all my bills online. There are lawn mowers that run themselves, automatic pool cleaners. etc. The time is coming soon my friend, when those low paying jobs will be no more.
Whether you like it or not, low paying jobs are going away because people are inventing ways to replace them. That's the American way! Either get with the program or get left - the choice is yours but don't whine if you make the wrong choice.

Ah Victoria, I love it.
They shouldn't be able to keep the name "San Fransisco" if they move there!
Those uncaring restaurant owners!
My more lib-uh-rhul than thou ex said in that peevish voice of hers "How dare you assume he was gay??? I didn't think he was gay!!!"
I mildly replied with: "That's because he wasn't rubbing his thigh on your back.
Game, set, match...
