For anybody that ever has tried to be a pilot of even a Cessna 150, the wash out rate has got to be 99.99%, but to get to be a supersonic fighter pilot on an F104 that half of the planes built crashed killing their Pilots(750 built), President Bush is a total War hero on 24/7 for whatever attack was perceived while kerry couldn't be successful commanding a 40 foot bathtub in a pond. Kerry makes Lurch look like Stephen Hawkins!

It appears that the very ambitious Hillary Clinton most likely considers '08 "her turn now", and I feel sorry for almost anyone who gets in her way. I doubt she would abide being a VP, for long at any rate . . . but, I don't really know what sort of surprise the Clintons are planning for us to trump what they've already slapped us with. . probably Clinton/Obama if I wanted to guess.

He has not run a major corporation, worked for a major law firm, been a Governor of a state, owned a business, been a General.... What has this guy been?

It would mean either the supreme triumph of the intimidation of the politically correct doctrine, or the eventual defeat. As for the atmosphere being pushed, it exists already and people are sick of it. If being PC is the only reason he is unassailable, then there might be a massive backlash via voting.
No, and that's the point. The Democrats needed someone to help their "house servants" get their "field hands" in the black community to the polls in '06 and '08. Jesse's a little long in the tooth, Al's carrying even more baggage than Jesse, and Harold is (was) buy trying to establish his "good old boy" credentials. Barack was the only one left with even a spark of charisma.
You're not going to get the brothers and sisters too excited about the all-white Clinton-Clark ticket in '08, so start a little love affair with Osama Obama. Who knows, maybe Barack is an insurance policy, in case the GOP nominee tries to put "Condi" on the ticket.

That said, it is the 'charisma' thing of Obama that is frightening. I don't want any 'charismatic' leaders period. . .much less one with the name Obama.
