And so many people have decided against the war JUST BECAUSE OF THE GENERALS THE MEDIA HAVE ROUNDED UP to gainsay Rumsfield and thePresident. Had a friend say just today (a Republican) that she wished Bush had dumped Rumsfield earlier--he must have been bad because so many military, esp. general officers have said so. I informed her that a handful of handpicked generals, now retired, had said so, but that there are hundreds of active duty generals as well as hundreds of retired. They could find many, many more generals who respected Rumsfield and the President. However, that would not fit the Dem/lib/media/celib agenda. People tend to believe there are only a very few generals.
Also, people don't know or forget that many in the military had their pet projects thwarted by Rummie as he updated the military complex.

If the msm was pro-American and patriotic this war would have already been won.

"Countdown To Terror" is a must read, but not
one on Matt Lauers List. It seems as if Weldon
and Santorum have been alike Prophets crying
out in the American political wilderness.
Iran is following all the prescribed activities
that were described by Weldon in his book. And as
usual, the MSM acts as if the book does not even have
a Library of Congress number....JJ61

Exactly.
But we didn't want to do it. We probably hoped that more of the world would of jumped on board at the chance to reshape the future towards a more free world.
Instead the world became cowards. It was that miscalculation that led to the events that have come to past.

Isn't that Arthur's butler extraordinaire (just to name one movie)? He was a wonderful and talented actor.

Laurie Mylroie is perhaps the one exception. She is a former Clinton person -- among many other roles -- and she seems to get the short-shrift by the media anyway. Why? Because she is expert at detailing what went on in Iraq as far as WMDs. So the media treats her like a pariah of sorts.
Before we went into Iraq, she was a media darling though.

It's always disheartening to hear other wise intelligent people echo DSM talking points. Goebbel's big lie in action.

Why are Generals writing books? Think about it for a second or more? Did Chesty Puller write a book? Sorry I do not read books like these. Where is Singlaub's book? Where is Col. Howards?
